DASH - To Claim Your Name — VerifyYourBrain

As I was transferring some #dash from Binance to my @dashpay wallet last night, I started using the wallet's search function of #dash users, typing in a few names of some random users of Hive whom I know are major players on #inleo simply to see if any had downloaded @dashpay wallet and actually registered their name.

This of course, is not perfect as random #dash users may have already claimed names used by Hive users but at least I thought it may give me an idea as to how many #inleo users had download the wallet and claimed the same name as they have on the #hive blockchain.

I'm not going to tell you the names of course, but I will say that after trying twelve names, I found none. This is a shame.

I think it would be very prudent for all #inleo users to download @dashpay wallet and, transfer a little #dash over and then spend as little as 0.03dash to claim a name, thus making it as easy on #dash as it is on #hive to transfer funds around.

Despite my misgivings about the way the current tie-in between #hive and #dash works, I believe it is absolutely necessary for different chains and coins to integrate and work together towards a common goal of global crypto adoption.

I know there is a huge push in Venezuela to sign shops up to use HBD but it looks rather a complicated process and involves @v4vapp but also allows a user to spend #btc too but if you take a look at @dashpay wallet, it's a simple clean interface with scan and from my little experience, transactions are fast and the fees tiny.

Just like using a simple traditional banking App or any other electronic wallet.

I'll end this post as I started it, with a call to Hive to sign-up, show some support in the other direction and reserve your name. Surely this is the way forward for cross-chain cooperation. Create your brand consistently!

Simply click on the 'friends' icon from the main screen and try your handle. The fee, which is dynamic, will be shown, pay it and you're sorted!

Earlier, I said I wouldn't name names but I'm sure this guy won't mind as he is one of the biggest advocates for @inleo and their plans for cross chain cooperation...

Hi mate, you can't transfer Hive to it, only Dash which you'll need to buy on an exchange.
The App is on Google play store :-)

The wallet is on the Google Play Store (or an APK from GitHub).

It doesn't hold Hive, only Dash, so you would have to use LeoDEX.

Yes, there is a good chance that there are some mismatches between users' Hive names and Dash names. For example, @thedessertlinux goes by thedesertlynx everywhere else, including on DashPay, but lost his Hive keys to his @thedesertlynx account.

We're in discussions to support adding your Dash username to your INLEO profile right under your Hive username. That would be very helpful, because then you could know who to look up on the Dash network.
