Happy New Month and Happy HPUD!

Another new month is here! And I am so grateful to God for His mercies that I have experienced in diverse ways since the beginning of this year.

One of the things that everyone all over the world talks about every now and then is the financial challenges that people are facing. I still don't know of a single person anywhere who hasn't been affected in one way or the other by the financial crisis rocking the whole world.

Making Financial Decisions

This is a season that calls for wisdom whenever someone wants to make a financial decision. Therefore, do not rush to invest in anything without first doing a thorough check so that you will be able to avoid stories that touch the heart.

A few years ago, I heard about one of those investments that sounded too good to be true. The promised ROI was so tempting that I decided to sign up and learn more. The website had three membership levels which people were paying for $300, $500 and $1000 respectively. There was even a calculator that could help you calculate how much rewards you will earn at different time intervals.

I thought of paying for the $300 membership level so I could start earning the promised rewards (the exchange rate was still friendly then), but somehow I kept having second thoughts about it, until that platform decided to upgrade to a new version they tagged Hyper...2.0 which promised to pay out more rewards (I decided to abbreviate the name of the program 😀😉).

The biggest decision I took was to not invest in that programme which many were equating to wealth transfer, lol. Not long after the launch of the 2.0 I talked about, Hyperfund crashed, and I know many people who are still lamenting about the funds they lost.

So, like I said earlier, be careful before you take any financial decision.

Participating in Hive Power Up Day every first day of the month is a major financial decision that I have taken recently, trying my best not to miss any HPUD.

This month of September 2024, I have once again been able to power up about 50 liquid $HIVE tokens.

This Power Up has brought my Hive Power to about 864HP. Gradually, I am moving towards my goal of becoming a dolphin in the near future. Yes, I know the gap is closing up more and more with every Power Up that I do.

There is still room for improvement, and I believe that the next HIVE Power Up Day, I will be staking more than what I just did.

If you are wondering why all the buzz and noise about HPUD, it is because there is a lot you stand to gain. For instance, there's the HPUD badge you receive if you Power up a minimum of 10Hive.

Moreover, you intentionally grow your Hive Power which in turn gives you greater vote value and influence.
