Threading is getting more and more popular.

Is short form the way forward???

Khal certainly thinks so.

We've seen a few other platforms try this already like noise and torum with Hive giving us d.buzz and now threads but none of them have really taken off yet.

Khal think that project blank is going to change all of this.

The target for year one is a ten fold increase up to 5K DAU.

Compared to any of the established web2 sites that's not even a blip on their radar but that is the stage of crypto that we are at. A few thousand users is considered winning for any crypto application but that will all change at some stage.

Why tweet when you can tweet and earn money?

I know that this won't effect the larger influencers who already earn form their online presence but what about the student in Venezuela or the unemployed user in the Philippines where it is very hard to earn a living.

$10 in some of these countries would mean a lot to some people. Maybe not in California but the world is not on equal terms.

If there is an opportunity to turn a passion into an income then people will sit up and take notice.

Threads 2.0 is coming.

We think. At least that is the info that is being given out to us.

The new UI is launching on the 14th with a marketing platform launching just before it on the 10th.

But even before we move to the next phase of development threads are slowly gaining adoption for their fast and fun nature.

Just the way that they are designed is a huge improvement on previous iterations that posted as full length blogs and appeared on our feeds.

I think that is why people are getting a lot more comfortable posting random stuff and just putting up whatever they fancy at the time. No thought, no effort, no quality needed.

Just like the rest of the world.

The team from Leofinance can see this and have been giving us the information if your following their posts.

Threads Are Scaling | Amount of Threads Per Day is Up 3x

We jumped from 500 Threads per day to 1500 Threads in the last two weeks (This was three weeks ago.

We've been seeing some amazing growth on Threads since the start of the new year. With the new UI right around the corner and dozens of marketing initiatives already going, we're seeing a lot of new faces get active.

And more users + more page views = more AD revenue which is what we should really be interested in. That is where our price will be determined for the LEO token and what will bring bring the next wave of users in to hit 50K DAU.

All in all we should be looking at a very exciting and busy time around Leofinance for the rest of 2023 as the team and the community try to grow our userbase and our wallets.

Ya the thread are pretty cool for everyone to participate

It will hopefully take off in a big way going forward.

I just hope it will be posted as a comment rather than a post as it will clog the chain of content. I assume your tweets will go under comments and not under posts right?

Yep. They have already been running the first version for months.
All the threads get batched together as a big post but show as comments in our feeds.

Not sure of the technicalities but it works well.

I've been jumping in from time to time whenever inspiration strikes me. One thing I'd like to see more of is #news as that's what makes Twitter "stickier." (and not just blockchain-based news, but ALL news stories).

We must have somebody in Turkey for instance that can give us a "boots on the ground" report, for instance.

I'd link out to more news stories on #threads if I thought more would be receptive to it, but I'm not sure there's much of an interest in non-blockchain subjects. Either way, #threads is headed in the right direction.

Yap, pretty and cool and going to rise. This is the first new outlet that is not actively policed by the old guard so far.

I love that post/comments/threads chart from Dalz.

Don't fight the tide!

That's what happens when you are watching a good match at the same time as trying to write a post. 😂

Having just returned to content creation and holding every Leo token I have received since the airdrop, I am just hearing about threads.

Seems like another Twitter style posting thing and I have trouble with quick posts and being satisfied with the content.

Am I missing something? I suppose I have to read a little more about how you participate and leverage this as I will be supporting Leo no matter where it goes.

Good to see you back anyway. It's been a while.

Leo is about to get a big upgrade that puts short form content on the front page for everybody to enjoy. It doesn't have to be financial content, just content.

On your profile however it will still have the original idea of blogging and full content creation.

It's just going to be set up differently going forward. The whole idea is to bring in users for the easy option of just tweeting and having fun. Then as they dive a bit deeper they will find all of the things that we love but take time to get used to.

There are a number of projects on the Hive blockchain that are gearing for explosion and threads is definitely one of them. Microblogging or short form contents significantly reduces the barrier to interacting and engaging on social media. 2023 will be an interesting year for LEO

And all going in lots of different directions which is cool.

We're going to have lots of cool projects launching this year and lots that move up a level in development
