I remember my reaction the first time my friend told me that Hive was forked...fucked out of Steemit. Hi @readthisplease! At first I was like...this hiveblog must be a platform comprising of kids! If not why would they use terms like fucked, hodl, bull, bear and a bunch of other twisted words. But here I am. Two years later, a spot trader, block chain blogger and a Lion!
Leofinance was a place I only went to read interesting news. I also loved the discord group for networking and to catch cruise. Its always fun in there. Lots of activities going on there that if you're not careful, you'll almost not make an actual blog post! That place feels like a complete social media or is it? Hmm. It reminds me of 2go group chats of then.
Leofinance and what has changed?
Ha! Becareful mate, for this street is an ever evolving and progressive one. I love the manner in which new initiatives pop up almost everyday. From blogging contest like this one from @leogrowth to massive projects like Cub DeFi and features like threads.
Before now, I basically use free and popular front ends like PeakD, Hive blog or Ecency to read or make post on Leofinance. I was very thrilled to wake up one day to the news of Leofinance front end! Though it's still in its beta stage, I feel like we've tested it enough and we should let the Leofinance team know that we endorse/approve it! (Don't you think so?) Hehehe
I was here when Cub finance kicked off. I even got some Cubs! The Polycub airdrop was a hot one too. So much so that it made it to news headline on Cointelegraph! I wonder how much my Polycubs I have accumulated now as it is a project that aim to disrupt traditional earning through its auto compound feature as a yield optimizer. Hey, the APR here is not your regular earning rate! I think I'll check on it later today, it's been a while.
Threads, the hottest news in the community now is potentially going to take over microblogging. Twitter needs to watch it! You can use it anyway you want. To promote your blog post, express yourself instantly, evoke a short discussion, make an announcement or share a moment. I'm loving it but I have a recommendation for the team!
Hey team @leothreads if you could include a little pencil icon on the yellow thread button to indicate an initiation of a new thread. It would be cool. I really found it challenging making my first thread and I talked about it in this blog.
