Europe’s taxation is madness
Almost an average of 50 % income tax in entire Europe. And that is mostly thanks to the Czech Republic and Romania, where taxes are considerably lower than in the rest of Europe. But in most countries income tax is above 50 %. With Denmark, Spain, Austria, France and Belgium topping the list with rates of 56, 55 and almost 54 %.
That is more than half of your (my) income that is dumped into a state system that is completely untransparant. And where lots of money sticks to the hands of government officials.
Lots of benefits?
Leftist people will say that we get so much more back by the government compared to the US. But, besides healthcare, that is really not the case. Our roads, at least here in Belgium are… shite! The pensions are the lowest of the entire European Union and government services are running on very bad diesel and lead by Kafka…
There is a safety net for the chronically ill, that’s a fact, and there is a safety net for those that lose their job. But believe me, you won’t get rich from being ill or unemployed.
So, where does all the money go? Well, quite easy, a government system that has gotten completely out of hand. Way too much people work for the government, millions of them. And they are, no pun intended, unproductive!
That’s what is wrong with Europe, socialism has gotten too big. And it’s very hard to get rid of.
Where’s Elon and his D.O.G.E.? We really need him over here…
Sincerely,
