Hello Hivians!
I have recently been introduced to Ecency and it has now become my default "blockchain-based social media platform" or frontend for Hive. If you are not familiar with the platform, it essentially allows you to earn points by doing the tasks you would ordinarily do on any other frontend such as PeakD or LeoFinance.
How to earn points?
- Posting - 15 points
- Commenting - 5 points
- Reblogging - 1 point
- Curating - 0.1 x vote weight
- Heartbeat - 0.25 points
- 1,000 HP Delegation - 100 points per day
- Login - 10 points
- Consistent Use - 10 points
- Posts in your community - 20 points per post from ecency users
- Daily Spin - Random amount of points from 1 to 45
What can you do with these points?
- Boost your posts - 150 points for a $1 upvote
- Promote your posts - 150 points for 1 day of promotion
- Gift to other users - Send 0.001 points or more to any other user
What's the point of this post?
This series of posts is a weekly series where I would like to track just how many Free Spins it takes to earn 150 points ($1 upvote). This post also serves as a weekly reminder to claim your free spin!
How can I claim my free spin?
You need to use the Ecency mobile app in order to claim your free daily spin. You can download it on Google Play Store or the iOS Store. If you are unsure where to find the free spin in the mobile app then I would suggest following this guide from @jan2x.
What are the results?
So... I am starting to get suspicious that the free spin isn't really random...
