After the last few days of exciting fun I decided to take a break for the most part today. I kept checking the charts out of habit and made paper trades. I was around 50/50 right during my paper trades so that was... fun. As always, anything I mention here is not financial advice but my thoughts and my plans on the tokens discussed.
Let's get started shall we!
BTC Decision soon!
There are 2 trendlines that it's currently on. The downward trendline is currently intact, but the upward trendline is going strong and is more recent! The decision will be made soon as to where it goes, but the way I see it. it might either consolidate in that area or break the downward trendline. This still make me bullish as we head to the 48500 mark within a week I think.
Yesterday's Position
I placed a position on GMT yesterday but in a matter of hours the CL was hit. Too bad that I wasn't able to predict the bounce based on the TA parameters I used, but hey I did learn some more interesting data! I reapplied what I learned and oit showed the strategy definitely helps maximizing gains. When I applied it this morning, I would've earned 200% today. But alas it was but a paper trade.
GMT Still Going Awesome?
Today's volume was similar to yesterday's volume. Compared to other tokens, this has a lot of volume which makes it still worth trading. The amount of volatility here is our friend! I'm looking to see how this stock behaves in the coming days as I fully expect it to make a run to around 3.30 area, but we shall see.
Tomorrow is back to trading!
After a refreshing day of no trading, I realized how emotionally invested I am in futures. I would still do paper trades despite supposedly resting. I guess to me as long as I get it right, I really feel a certain sense of rush and enjoyment. This is a dangerous feeling as it honestly feels like a gambler rush, which I know I have to keep in check.
In any case, this rest day was something I needed and it was... amazing. If you trade futures as well, then make sure you take some rest. You deserve it!
