How I like to shape my 2024 journey.
After completing my 24K HP milestone this year, my more is much boosted for the year coming year 2024, and I guess. I should be making plans for my 2024 journey and what I like to achieve in the year 2024 and what will be my broader strategy for the next year, that can put a solid foundation for my financial independence and retirement planning (which I am putting at the year 2037 and can achieve before that, it will be better.)
Since I am still in the early phase of my financial planning, these goals will be more about building assets for myself that can appreciate over time and can give me nice earnings to stack and keep compounding so that it can further fuel my growth for the future. So focussing on my bigger plans, my plans for the year 2024 are as follows.
34000 HP Goal.
I am still focused on building my Hive Power, and I like to reach 34000 Hive Power at the end of the year 2024. My current Hive curation income is at 40 Hive per week and I like to increase my curation income to 50 Hive per week, so increasing Hive power will help me in more passive income in Hive per week, and if Hive price increases in 2024, then it will be more dollars per week too.
200K GLX goal.
I want to complete this goal in the year 2023 itself but I am not able to. I guess, in the year 2024, my focus for the initial months is to accumulate the GLX, as I expect the same growth plan for GLX down the line. One of the goals, I completed in 2023 was 300K SPS and my plan is to liquidate some SPS for the GLX, it will help me to reach my GLX goal more aggressively.
15K LEO goal.
At the current stage, I am much more confused about the LEO development, its price does not reflect the "noise" and hype surrounding it, the Curation APR of the token is too low that that I decided that I am not going to use my Hive to buy it, I will just stake all my earnings to reach 15K LEO. Having more than 14K LEO , adding 1000 LEO is not a big task, but earning LEO start looking to me as "luck by chance".
Building more on Passive income.
Overall, I will be focused on building more passive/semi-passive income for myself, but I will be vigilant towards my crypto assets. I will see, that what else I can buy to increase my passive income.
CTP token in Hive getting a new management, will it be able to do something that will give value to CTP and my curation income will become meaningful?
Exploring other chains, WAX, OP and Solana.
Names are not fixed it should be WAX, OP, and Solana only but I will be focusing on other chains to see if I can have some interesting earning potential there.
Learn Phython.
In the year 2023, I learned Google Cloud, unfortunately but I did not get any opportunity to work on it professionally. I guess professionally I am expected to take some AI courses this year, but I will make one personal goal i.e to learn Python.
