Powering up Hive and retrospection on the previous month.
As usual the first of the month is the Hive power-up day and I used to power up my Hive on every first of the month so this month will be going to be no exception. For the current month, I have saved a nice amount of the Hive in my account amounting to 230 Hive and I am powering up the same today.
After powering up, my Hive power is now 28735 HP and I am confident to complete the 29000 Hive power milestone in the month of the February. In the current scenario, my Hive activities mainly consist of authoring, curating and playing Hive games, though my first 2 activities generate Hive for me but playing games accumulates tokens for me and I expect them to be precious on the coming bull run. In the same time I replicated my content on the Publish0x and it come as mixed success as I got the desired views but earnings were dismal.
I was not expecting to cross 10K views in Publish0x as I writing after an long break but to my surprise that 10K+ views just bring only $1.60 to my account. I remember that is used to $5 earlier. It seem that publish0x is now able to provide more views (maybe they are getting good traffic) but earning potential is reduced considerably (maybe they slashed tips too much.) In the meantime I also checked another crypt0 platform wubits and give it pass as I am occupied with my current activities.
In Splinterlands, I have took part in both the seasons that concluded in Janurary and ended Diamond 3 and Diamond 2 respectively. I guess I might have done better there but I lost many close fight as RNG gods are fighting against me. I hope that month of February will be good for me.
On the same time, I started playing a new game on Hive i.e Moonkarts and started exploring on both the game and tokenomics sites.
Though I do not have any significant investment in the game but I am holding good amount of colony tokens, a little SCRIPT and I staked it with card to generate fuel to check on the game's "passive" earning mechanics.
Overall, January went well for me and I missed the "Monthly Author Reward" by a whisker but I hope that I am able to get this reward in the current month. So current month has 2 very simple goal i.e to cross 29K Hive power and try to break in the Diamond 1 league in Splinterlands.
One thing, that used to be my favorite and in current scenario that is completely out of my radar is my Leo goals. One of the reason is their interface that really not helping me to understand about my earning from curation and my earning from the author rewards. Though I am getting weekly LEO payments as I hold nice chunk of LBI and I guess I got close to 30 LEO in the month of January from LBI only. Another good thing is that I won 3000 LP delegation in Janurary LPUD and looking forward that what is in store for me in February LPUD.
So, I guess. I have very plain and simple goals for February, not overwhelming me with too much and really focusing on very few things but with determination to achieve them.
