My Twitter timeline has been filled with a lot of praises from the hyper liquid community thanking the project for putting them and not being greedy like other projects. This year we have seen a lot of projects neglect their community thereby leading the project to a very bad ending. Flopped projects like Starknet, ZKSYNC, scroll, venom and co once neglected their community. I have been an airdrop hunter for a while and I know how disappointing it can feel interacting, investing your money and your time in a project, they encourage and promise you that they will treat the community well and put them first, only to launch and disregard the community.
I watched a project like Starknet publicly call their community e-beggars and created an eligibility criteria to cut off majority of their community. Today there is barely any meaningful interaction there, I have never interacted with the project since after the airdrop. But projects like Arbitrum, Optimsm, layer 3 and co, I always interact with them. This airdrop space is filled with sentiments and emotions, because humans are what make up the community.
Hyper liquid is a perp trading platform where people can trade and earn points. These points were converted to tokens and these token held huge value. Imagine an airdrop system where 35% goes to the community and the community is so pleased with the airdrop no one wants to sell.
