No One Earns Enough Money

in #hive-1679222 years ago

How much money is enough? How much do you think is enough for you to retire? Remember when Floyd Mayweather declared he was going to retie for boxing? How many times did he say that and came back to box again? That is the issue with money, its an insatiable want that cant get a man satisfied. Its a like a life adventure and goal that every human is trying to achieve and they can’t seem to get enough, for a second lets admit that the race is as interesting as it is also frustrating. One minute you are setting a financial goal and trying to achieve it, the next minute you are setting a bigger goal and placing your life on it like it depends on it.

I have gotten a life changing life lesson with money that all I do is see money in a different perspective. Money is a state of the mind and in a way is the biggest scam in the world. The world de-pends on money and it controls everyone’s life one way or the other, to the extent that people can exist without it and every is constantly trying their best to earn as much as possible. This is why you find people working numerous jobs to make sure they stay ahead their bills. Because bills is what we mostly spend our money on. Investments is repeatedly announced and everyone is advised to always invest, just so they can have more money. I have never seen some one reject the opportunity to make an extra income, except the means to make that extra income is below their standard and way below their pay grade or worth.

Like I asked, how much is enough money? What you might consider to be enough money, might just be someone’s monthly spending. I over heard some one saying they haven’t made $2,000 at once before in their life. What they met is that, they haven’t had the opportunity of having $2,000 at their disposal all at once, and the ironic thing is that another friend of mine was complaining that he had spent over $4,000 that month and he was going to consider wise spending. This is just the reality of 2 different people. No matter what amount of money you think or consider enough, there are people who are making and spending this amount effortlessly. That is just the reality of life. We see this on Hive and crypto everyday, your Hive power monthly goal, is someone’s daily achievement, and that is also someone’s yearly achievement. Life has never been equal, and in money, the rate of inequality is way higher.

There might come a time where you would have this feeling of satisfaction, but not for long, we as humans always want to change and improve, a form of growth, they call it the plus 1 element. There is always room for improvement, people are always looking for ways

It is just like saying the more you get the more you want to get. I think this is how humans are wired though; to never be satisfied and to always keep working for more. I do not think that, using the example of Hive, I will ever stop trying to earn more. Ma guy, You are so right!

Ouch! You got me right there. LOL.

I remember my teacher in high school saying that it's humans are naturally never fulfilled creatures that is why they keep on wanting more money.

Yeah, I'm guilty of checking whale accounts' number of posts and earnings on hivebuzz/hivestats and comparing it to my own Dec 2026 financial goal for HIVE.

I guess enough for me is when I can pay for rent, food, medicine, and clothing and savings. Once you start desiring boats and mansions, you should consider evaluating your priorities.

Yeah, we are all guilty of that one way or the other. I just try to stay grateful these days.
