I made my entry into the crypto space in the year 2019 and now since we are in 2022 so I have completed three years here. I understand that it is a fast pace running industry where the amount of development is too high and even innovation is also something that keeps on happening with speed to bring better things for the community worldwide. So many projects and initiatives are taken by the exchanges I have many other experts and most of these products are built with the thought to add more value and give more options to the new and existing users.
When I started my journey at that time Bitcoin price was less than 10k USD and now this is trading in the range of 24k USD however it has already made its all-time high. We all are aware that the all-time high price was almost 70k USD and that's a huge amount. If we calculate the value in India as per the INR currency and consider the all-time high price then one Bitcoin is worth more than 5 Million INR. This is such a big amount in India and this kind of growth is possible only with crypto. Some people call crypto cryptocurrency but I think this is not a currency since this is not legal tender and I believe that this is a crypto asset that we can trade or hold however it has monetary value.
I still remember the day when Bitcoin dropped massively and it was gone below the 4000 USD mark. That was the day when a lot of people thought that Bitcoin is now going to die and within the same year Bitcoin was more than 60,000 USD so now hope you can imagine the growth possibility here and how much potential we can see in the coming years. I don't think that it is required to mention here the potential of crypto because we all are well aware that it is here to stay and over the period it will grow significantly. The crypto market is the only market as far as I know that runs a 24/7 environment and we can work here at our convenience and not by the timings defined by any authority as we see in traditional markets.
So the growth I have seen in the last couple of years has been amazing and I am sure that in the next 5 to 10 years this is going to be even better. I always say that having a goal is very important and it is also important that we should not be worried before the completion of the goal because keeping close track of something can also create a lot of issues and because of this we might lose our momentum. For example, if we invest in a mutual fund for 20 years then obviously we do not track the value every day however checking the value once in a while is OK but we know that we are not eligible to sell it earlier than the majority. Although we have the option to sell early this is going to cost us and because of that cost lot of people avoid selling this way they give the complete tenure two-day investment. But here in crypto, everyone is like running out of time and they want to track every movement so that they are well updated about the market moment which I think is good for the knowledge purpose but surely not good for the investment since everything needs time to grow.
Do you think that now Bitcoin can test the 10,000 USD mark? Or do you think that the entire crypto market cap is going to be just $100 Billion? Obviously, anything is possible here but the probability is not even 0.01% I believe and if you think the same then I think you should not be worried and keep on building the stake because now is the good time to build and after a couple of years you will be able to grab significant returns that will surely make you happy. I am trying to do the same and my goal is for the year 2025 which is three years from now until then I will not be selling anything that I have decided for the long term and no matter what happens in the market in between.
