£12 million to avoid being convicted for sexual abuse..... that's cheap for the Royal Estate!

I guess Andrew's lawyers have managed to convince him that he had zero chance of defending himself successfully against the claims of abuse being made against him, and that he should pay whatever Ms Giuffre demands, which is speculated to be in the region of £7-12 million pounds, or pushing $15 million dollars, a relatively small portion of which will be paid to charity.

I mean let's face it - even if Ms Giuffre wasn't 'harmed' that much and is just being opportunistic in adopting the 'victim label' - there are several historic victims involved and we've got a suicide and a sex-trafficking conviction of two of his friends, this was always a no-win situation for Andrew, I'm amazed he's managed to drag this out for this long TBH.

While I'm sure the $10 million or so will go a long way towards compensating Ms Giuffre the 'harm 'she's had to endure, it's not a huge price for the Royal Estate to pay to potentially keep one of their own out of jail.

Ignore the fact that the Queen receives around £80 million a year from the tax payer (it should of course be zero), and let's just assume we'll do the reasonable thing this year and take £12 million off, just to make sure the Royal Estate is paying for Andrew's alleged Paedo-antics privately.

And Don't be fooled by NewsPaper headlines quoting the Queen's net worth at around £4-500 million, which makes it sound like £12 million is around 3% of her wealth, that's just her personal wealth.

No, the figure we need to consider to work out the percentage cost I think is the value of the Crown Estate - which is valued at an eye watering £14 billion.

Let's not forget that the [Crown Estate] owns large chunks of London and huge swathes of rural land in England and Scotland, and probably other parts of the world too I imagine.

If we factor in that, then a £12 million payout is only around 0.05-0.1% of the TNW of the entire crown estate.

All they need do is sell-off a few hectares of land and maybe a house in London and that's Andrew's debt covered.

Let's just hope we reduce payments to the crown this year, to make sure we're not paying for this idiot's misdemeanours!

While not defending Andrew, I do find it strange that Ms Giuffre can be 'severely harmed' by being shagged at the age of 17, and yet if this was the UK it would be OK as the legal shagging age is 16.

This is the thing with teenage girls, they range from delicate flowers in need of protection to manipulative sluts who know exactly what they're doing.

But the narrative only tells us about one type.

Interestingly the courts don't listen to that narrative, I've read articles on old men sleeping with 14 year olds getting off with suspended sentences because the judged deemed they were in the slut category (effectively).

But this is a special case isn't it!

She is quite possibly a slut playing the delicate flower narrative.

I mean fair play to her, use what you've got.

I have no doubts he did it, and remembered her.. but she's a gold-digger and taking advantage of his status. I was just a kid when Andrew was sleeping around with the likes of Koo Stark, who was labelled as a porn star. I thought she still was until I read the Wiki. He was always the wild one and should not have got involved with all this seedy stuff.

All they need do is sell-off a few hectares of land and maybe a house in London and that's Andrew's debt covered.

They wouldn't need to sell anything, banks would throw low-interest loans at them which are tax-free and the repayments are tax-deductible

Well that would be another option for sure!

Jeez I wanna laugh at this photo but the subject matter is too grave...
