Whatever happens in the crypto market, the blame for everything that happens lies with us, the whales... But, are we as "Almighty" as most people think?
Because let's be realistic for a second... Of course, cryptographic whales (which we are all those people who have a large amount of capital invested in the crypto market) we have great power to influence what is happening in the markets; but on an individual level, there is little that each of us can do in the great ocean that is the crypto market as a whole.

Imagine a real whale in the ocean
It is true that the term "Whale" is used to designate all the large investors in a specific market (crypto, stocks, commodities, currencies, etc.), but let's go beyond the metaphor, and talk about real whales, the They swim in the ocean and are the largest mammals on the planet.
Now let's imagine a single whale, swimming in the great ocean, it is a huge whale, of adult age, that swims through the seas, and that single whale can move everything in its path, ships, fish, waves and everything that it gets ahead. But let's think for a second... Could everything that happens in the ocean (no matter how big and powerful the whale be) be due to that one whale?
Logic tells us that no, no matter how big and powerful it is, a single whale cannot be responsible for everything that happens in the sea. Of course, a whale, no matter how lonely it is, has an enormous power of influence, and a capacity to survive greater than that of the other animals that cross its path; but that doesn't make her totally invincible or all-powerful.
Now let's imagine that it's not a single whale we're talking about, but a compendium of whales moving in unison, as a team. Things change a lot there, and it could be said that they multiply their power of influence. Let's say there are 15 huge whales swimming together and beating the sea and everything that gets in their way.
Well, that not make them responsible for everything that happens in the ocean as a whole either, but it does make them considerably more powerful than if they swam separately.
Leaving comparisons aside
Now let's go back to talking about the whales of the crypto market... We are certainly powerful, we certainly have plenty of capacity to scare, move and influence everything in our path; but we cannot make, even working together; that the entire market fall down
It's virtually impossible for us to do so, because logistically, we don't have all the money that can be in the market (despite having our huge capital put into it).
But let's go beyond everything we've said so far... Even if we individual whales could send the price of a cryptocurrency through the floor, would we do it with all our money put into that cryptocurrency? No, right? Because that would make us lose all our money.
What we whales generally do is invest in what are known as accumulation periods and sell in what are known as distribution phases. With this, we give the market a tailspin and everyone is scared or happy, which drives the downtrends and the uptrends respectively.
We, the whales, are the triggers for what happens in the markets, but only that, triggers... If people get scared and choose to buy or sell based on their knowledge or ignorance of what is happening in the markets , it's your problem, and in the end that's what makes the price of cryptocurrencies rise or fall. We whales detonate with our tails, hotspots, and then move according to circumstance, taking advantage of the situation and dragging whatever gain we can in our wake, just like real life whales (the ones that swim in the ocean); they drag and eat all the fish they find in their path.
I hope this has made the idea of what I mean clear. We whales are powerful, but the crypto market is a very large ocean, so we are not responsible for absolutely everything that happens in it.
Sometimes we, the whales, swim together, and we increase our ability to influence and our profits, but even so, we cannot say that we are responsible for everything that happens in the crypto market as a whole. Remember it! Let's think a little before acting in the markets and let the custom of blaming the whales for our wrong decisions in the cryptomarket.
We will read us soon.
