The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this prompt "animation" was the Tom and Jerry cartoon. This cartoon called Tom and Jerry was the best cartoon for kids when I was little and I can't deny the fact that I love it so much.
Let me tell you how much I love Tom and Jerry's animation, we don't have a TV in our house and as kids, it is necessary for us to watch cartoons because that is the only thing that makes us happy.
We were living in the church because after my dad died all our property was claimed by his family including our beautiful television. There was no means to watch cartoons and my mom couldn't afford another one. So she warned us never to go into anyone's apartment in the church, she knew we could do such just because of Tom and Jerry's animation cartoons.

One day, my mom had gone to work and we were home, meanwhile, we could hear the noise of the cartoon from the room next to us so I and my siblings stood by the window listening to the sound because we didn't want to enter their room.
Isn't that funny to listen to the sound of a cartoon and then start laughing? Well, we were kids and that was the only thing that was fun for us, I and my siblings enjoyed the cartoon soundtrack from our window and it made us laugh so hard even more than those kids watching it on the television.
Our laughter was so loud to the extent that the kids watching it were curious to know why we were laughing since they knew we didn't have television in our room. They came outside but they couldn't enter our room because we had already locked it at the back as instructed by our mom.
They came to the window with the mindset of looking through the window and seeing what was it that made us laugh so loud. They didn't stop the cartoon so we didn't have any idea of what was going on, so they met us at the window listening to the animation soundtrack and they all burst into laughter.
One of them asked, "Why are you people laughing so loud without watching the real animation?" Another one asked, "Can the sound be so funny than watching it?".
My elder sister answered them, "We are ok with the sound because, without sound in animation, it won't be funny,".
Even when I became an adult I still watched the animation because I couldn't forget about it easily.
But now, the technology has advanced to the extent that we now have different animations, some animations are much better than watching a movie.
There was this animation I watched recently titled "Ecanto" I so much like the graphics everything was so perfect in the cartoon. I must say this, I prefer animations to some movies because my children too can watch them with me unlike a movie that would always have some part that children must not see, well I am not saying watching a movie is bad but as a mother that I am, I prefer something I could enjoy with my kids.
Animations nowadays are beyond just to play for kids because even adults can watch it and that is why I prefer it so much.
