In our global world of internet, where web3.0 is trying to prove so many points by out smarting the legacy web2.0 has built over the years.
Internet users found something great in the web2.0, as at the time it was introduced around 2006/07. Web2.0 which is also known as the Read-write web enables users to interact more with the internet, providing more experience than the web1.0 structure.
Data's of web2.0 are originally centralized, as owners of all platforms tends to take full control of users data's using PHP.
We have seen web2.0 at work due to the satisfaction it gives to its users. But this platform lacks some great qualities every internet users would love to see, and that is decentralization.
Gradual Development Of Web3.0
Inorder for decentralization to be induced into the web system, an upgrade of web2.0 had to be introduced, which lead to the development of web3.0.
The web3.0 which is a web structure built on the internet has brought about how internet users view the world.
Thanks to David Lee Chaum and others, For introducing the Blockchain technology, which is the power house of the web3.0 project. Blockchain proves that every data that involves the internet can't be controlled by anyone, as everyone remains incharge of their data.
Blockchain project resulted to the use of crypto currencies. Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto for his brilliant thinking on how internet users can simply get better asset which are related to the internet.
Bitcoin being the first crypto currency built using the blockchain project has grow over time, with millions of internet users owing their own share of the currency. Bitcoin has brought out crypto currency usage into the lime light, as thousands of other currencies are now in the market today.
Hive which is another crypto built on its own blockchain is also something to talk about. The hive blockchain has created an eco system, where lots of communities can operating, carrying out POW operations for it users to earn some tokens.
###Taking A Review
With the gradual development of today, you could see that web3.0 comes with greater benefits. But i still wonder why internet users still get stuck using the web2 scheme.
Are we not passing enough information ?, Or the web2 seems better than (3) ?
I would really love to get an answer to the question above.
Opinion
With large number of internet uses still using the web2.0, i think they might get stranded along the line.
my reasons - most of the social applications running the web 2.0 scheme would definitely go for an upgrade by moving to the web3.0 scheme.
The common social media's we see today would start operating on full web3.0 scheme in the next 5years or less. So my question is
How would those stranded users catch up with the world we are already operating now ?
In Conclusion
We all had great experience using the web2.0 scheme, but a better upgrade is here, and it has proven to be better. It is certain that this current users would be stranded with web3 in the future. Large tech companies like 2go and blackberry failed due to the differences between the future and present, so what we do with our present matters alot.
Web3.0 user like @taskmaster4450 had already made some point with one of his post titled
