HIVESPACE Returns
About a year ago the team of @alessandrawhite, @epodcaster and @shadowspub took a hiatus from the #HIVESPACE show on Twitter (now known as X). The Space was started as a place for people curious about Web3, crypto, blockchain and the HIVE blockchain could safely explore.
We strove to avoid being over techy and to share in ways listeners could understand, even if they had never been anywhere around the aforementioned list.
The HIVE blockchain is our passion, it’s a social media blockchain with a strong sense of community. The applications and projects running on the chain are very diverse, along with it’s membership.
We really loved bringing guests on from that diverse line up. We always had a lot of fun and learned a lot more than we thought we already knew.
On Saturday October 5th at 12pm Eastern time, HIVESPACE is returning and we’ve found our new home on GoBrunch. More about GoBrunch in a moment.
Our First Guest Will Be @dreemsteem
Our first guest at our new home will be @dreemsteem from the DreemPort Curation project. DreemPort is a pay it forward curation project. It’s been running for a few years now with the objective of bringing readers quality content.
Like any project, the creator learns what works and doesn’t work while it’s operating. Recently @dreemsteem made some tough choices on how DreemPort will move forward. She’s made some tough choices and how to reconfigure. The new version released on Tuesday, October 1st.
We’re delighted to welcome her to the newly reconfigured HIVESPACE to talk about what’s happening with DreemPort. The “Dreemers” are already familiar with GoBrunch as they have participated in two of the Expos held on the platform.
What is GoBrunch?
GoBrunch is a site where you can create the world you want to operate in. You create rooms to look like the spaces you’d like to meet in real life and then invite others to join you.
I have a couple of virtual offices on GoBrunch. One is a drop in and take your chances
and the other one is, you have a coffee date with me and I’ll be there to meet with you.
I have even created an art gallery where you can explore some of the daily images I release. I’ll write more about my Daily Echoes soon.
The INFO buttons in the Art Gallery are clickable. A popup tells you more about the image and has a link where you can buy it as a printable download.
The diversity of rooms is limited only by your imagination.
The image in the header of this post is the studio we created to hold HIVESPACE in.
We have a stage for the moderators and guests, a couple of microphones for people to ask questions from and currently audience space for 34. BUT, in just minutes I can add enough to have up to 200 people in the room.
GoBrunch has many of the features of Zoom in that people can turn cameras on in their circles, there are presentation cams where they can speak from a rectangle to share and screen sharing for presentations.
Unlike Zoom, the rooms can have embeds that make them unique and videos can be shared in multiple ways. The founder of GoBrunch is very active in the community and responsive to it.
You don’t have to signup to attend events on GoBrunch. You click the GoBrunch link, enter a name, choose an avatar or upload your own and, you’re in.
We are asking you to register at Lu.ma fpr this event, you know, just in case I need to add more seating. It would nice to know in advance.
