Crypto To Giftcards Easy With Bitrefill

Recently, I've tried this website called Bitrefill. They allow you to purchase gift cards, phone top ups, esims, gaming credits and even travel discounts on hotels and flights depending on the availability for your country. You don't have to make an account to purchase anything. I made one so I could share my referral and you will need to create an account as well if you wanted to support me by using my referral. In addition to that, I also wanted to see how much cashback I could get in crypto since they give 1 up to 10 % in bitcoin for making purchases depending on the product.

So far I have been liking this site. There's many forms of crypto currency payments as you can see below. To be exact, you can pay in solana, bitcoin, lightning, li.fi pay, ethereum, usdc, usdt, litecoin, dogecoin and dash. Personally, I have been using Solana since there's low gas fees. All you have to do to pay is by copying the address to send the money to and the exact amount. For solana, it was quite fast and I received my code to claim my Grabgift. I received the Grabgift and chose the RM20 for Grabfood voucher.

I decided to test to see if it worked. I used the RM20 Grabfood voucher to buy Burger King. There was also another voucher that gave RM3 off for some hot deal promo. I was able to pay RM0 for my dinner today as you can see in the screenshot below. Technically, I paid in crypto which was like 4.4 something dollars for the voucher. It makes me think that if I just keep focusing and making money in crypto, I can just buy food like this because it feels so cheap since crypto goes by USD.

I only saw this after creating an account. Apparently, there are limits to the amount of orders which can be increased if you KYC or aka verify your identity. This is probably to not abuse the system and potentially participate in money laundering in a way I guess because I felt this was kind of grey area. People could just convert all their crypto into gift cards and it'd be a bit hard to track. Even for 15 orders a day, I feel like it's a lot and more than enough for me. I'm not sure if this would apply to people that didn't create an account though because the person could just change devices or IP to purchase more so I'm not sure how exactly the website can enforce the limits on guest users. Anyways this site is interesting and I will probably start using it to pay for my grab rides and grab food. I may even explore other options in future like steam cards. That's all for me.
