Hope the week is going well and the weekend is not far away. This weekend is a bit different as it can be extended for many in India because of Independence Day on 15th Aug. But this is not the topic I'm going to talk about in this post.
Gaming on the blockchain also call it Web 3 Gaming is going to be a bigger segment. Why I say this has a reason. It is because a lot of people are coming to this and now playing games can be rewarding which was not possible before and the credit goes to the blockchain that has made it possible. Everything is transparent and driven by technology so there is no manual intervention. there are so many games available on the blockchain and it is up to you which one you want to start with but I believe Splinterlands has been a leader here. This is a game that has been doing well and it has also completed its five years on the crypto market. if any project has survived for five years with a proven track record then it's a clear sign that it is stable and it has got a sustainable economy behind it. If any project is not stable then it cannot continue for such a long time.
I have already shared in my previous posts that I am trying to get more of gaming and crypto. I am trying to understand more about the splinterlands game and I want to mention here that the more I want to learn, make I feel that there is even more for me to learn. I recently got to know about the GLX coin. It is the same coin as we have sps on the card game so we have glx on the soccer game and that game is called Genesis League. I had no information about this game so got to know through leo threads. It is important that we engage with people and this is how we gather a lot of information which can be new for us but it is surely worth knowing.
I did not know that Splinterland has got two projects. This is good because now people have got the option to play either a card game or soccer and they can also play both if they want. There is more variety available for the players and they have the option to choose one or many. I can again say that this is one of the points that we should not be missing and this proves that the splinterlands is an even better and bigger project.
We can expect exponential growth in the splinterlands game. The way this game has been built can offer a variety of options to the community where people can buy different assets depending upon different market prices. even the game is built in such a way that you need not be a player in the game and by investing you can earn rewards. if you can be a player then you are going to earn both ways where your gameplay will reward you but as an investor also you get certain rewards for holding different assets.
Now they have made some changes in the game because they expect the loyal users to build some holding. this change has come in the form of SPS holdings so if you hold more tokens then you are going to earn more. This is also fair because we cannot expect everyone to follow the same but if the majority of people do then it will make a positive impact on the project. if everyone decides to sell off everything whatever they earn then it is going to make things worse in the market. When there are more buyers and fewer sellers then we know that this is not the right way so there has to be some balance between buying and selling.
I have already started buying cards in the game so I hope that soon I can be a player or if it takes too much time then I can also start by renting some cards. Do you think renting is a good option? Suggestions needed.
