The classic Greek expression "molon labe," which means "come and take it," is thought to have been uttered by the Spartan King Leonidas in response to the Persian forces' demand that their armies surrender their weapons. This ounce of silver artistic medal honors the phrase.

Obverse:The detailed depiction of the Spartan King Leonidas in Spartan regalia, surrounded by soldiers of the Persian “God King” Xerxes. “MOLON LABE” around the bottom circumference.

Reverse: Intaglio Mint logo set on radial burst surrounded by stippled border reading “TWO TROY OUNCES” above and “.999 FINE SILVER” below on textured background, flanked by mintage year in roman numerals “MMXXII”.

These silver rounds don't come in capsules. I put them in Airtites to protect them from scratches and the elements.

There are a total of twelve shields engraved in this round. Each shield has a different design. The photo doesn't do justice to the excellent workmanship of the coin. Even the back of the round is outstanding.
