Welcome to this weeks update from the @spinvest-leo account. This wallet manages a small portion of the overall @spinvest fund, and sends HIVE back to @spinvest each week to contribute to the pool of funds for dividends. This wallet is managed by @jk6276
Position changes this week:
This week has seen little change in our holdings. @silverstackeruk is planning to send us a top up of funds, likely around $1500, to boost this wallet so I can continue to send 100 HIVE per week towards the SPI dividend without eating into the principle funds.
Current holdings:
SPS/BNB pool - $961 (up $54 from last week)
SPS/HIVE pool - $1000 (up $50)
Staked SPS - $278 (up $36)
BXT/HIVE pool - $351 (no change)
Staked BXT - $219 (down $8)
HIVE power - $228 (up $3)
vexPOLYCUB - $46 (down $1)
BNB Liquid - $12 (down $1)
Commentary:
A good week for SPS translates to a good week for this wallet, as SPS comprises 40% of this wallets holdings. The SPS liquidity pools we are in earn stable and consistent returns in the 35% - 40% range. SPS looks quite solid, and liquidity is excellent for it overall across chains. I think that when top up funds come in, I will be allocating $1000 to the SPS/ETH pool. When this happens, I will likely unstake our staked SPS, to balance out the wallet a bit better.
With $1000 in each of 3 different SPS pools (ETH, BNB, and HIVE) that is a significant portion of the wallet exposed to SPS. Holding staked SPS also seems unnecessary, we are not actively playing the game, so won't experience the in game benefits of staked SPS.
BXT is the other token I'm liking at the moment, and I plan on giving the BXT/HIVE diesel pool a top up when funds are available. I like the idea of holding $1000 liquidity in that pool also.
So I guess that when top up funds come in, and the overall wallet is worth around $4500, this is how I see it being allocated, along with estimated income:
- SPS/BNB - $1000 - roughly 25 HIVE per week yield
- SPS/HIVE - $1000 - roughly 25 HIVE per week yield
- SPS/ETH - $1000 - roughly 25 HIVE per week yield
- BXT/HIVE - $1000 - roughly 15 HIVE per week yield
Important to note, we have other sources of income which will boost the total income well over the 100 HIVE per week goal. BXT staking, delegating HIVE to @leo.voter, claiming drips from the EMP generator contract (SPS/BNB pool tokens) and good old fashioned post payouts to name a few.
At this point, the remaining $500 is currently split between HIVE power and BXT stake. I am considering that these funds could be better off allocated into buying DBONDs and working to accumulate DAB tokens. Personally I have bought in, and after checking in with SSUK, @spinvest actually does not have a big exposure to the DAB project, just the one holding through the jointly owned @houseoftribes account.
Current asset exposure:
Here is what the wallet currently looks like in terms of asset exposure.
- SPS - $1259 - 41%
- BNB - $493 - 16%
- HIVE - $904 - 29%
- BXT - $395 - 13%
- vexPOLYCUB - $46 - 1%
Totals and conclusion:
- Total asset value last week: $2962
- Total asset value this week: $3095
- Weekly gain/loss: up $133
Seems we are bouncing around the $2.9K to $3.1K range. I guess flat asset value and 100 HIVE per week income is not a bad outcome, but I'm keen to see some asset growth also.
100 HIVE sent to @spinvest for weekly dividends.
