I did not know it was 109 year sentence. This is bitter vengeance and an utter misuse of power. The only good long term solution I see is having more Libertarians in the court system. That is hard but it is the only way.
IIRC Roger Ver was very positive about #dash and he had invested in $DASH. This was many years ago. I do not know if he sold any of his position.

Life imprisonment, it's the same thing, unless some robotic miracle of transporting someones brains and organs into a machine.
I think it's specified with a number of years, because if the punishment were to be slightly forgiven, a bunch of years will be deducted from it. It's better to deduct from 109, than from imaginary number called "lifetime imprisonment."
In practice, high-year sentences often function the same as life imprisonment, but the precision allows flexibility for legal, administrative, and societal purposes.

Regardless of what might be anyone's story or background as far as crypto is concerned, once you are patient enough, you will earn enough.

I think he is gonna face maybe a huge battle cause those against him and his agenda would wanna fight back but regardless he has a strong ground.
Hiring the best lawyers and find a way to settle his debts or taxes is a good proportionate idea but he needs to look at why he would have to go through rigorous law suits.

109 years is practically a life sentence and we are talking about an individual where there is no harm done. Murders and rapists get off with a fraction of Roger Ver's sentence.
The worst part is that there is little we can do about it. I still think we should do whatever we can to make the governments more aligned with Libertarian values.

If your principles depend on who is supporting your ideology (or in this case $BTC investment), then you don't really have any principles.

Unfortunately we are a long way away from abolishing the IRS. Elon and Vivek may abolish some smaller cancerous institutions. I don't expect DOGE to do anything to stop the tyranny of IRS, FED and Military Industrial Complex.

You are not a felon until you are sentenced and most of the time not until your appeals are done.
this is designed so if you are railroaded for their is corrupt judges etc...
You get the chance for appeals.

actually that is not how the legal system works.
You need to be very careful how you use words.
He is not a convict until sentencing.
This is super important as the country has a history of innocent people being railroaded in courts since the founding.
We need to make sure everyone gets treated fairly and misinterpreting this point is not good if we are trying to more forward as a species and society.
my issue with this is the following:
take Trump out of it.
but a regualr citizen in and the jury finds them guilty and before sentencing you find fault with getting a fair trial.
For what ever reason. If that person is a convict.
This affects their jobs, family and ability to make money.
If six months later you find out the judge is corrupt. (this does happen) police planted evidence etc...
Now this convict is found innocent.
Their life is still ruined as the community will always see them as a convict.
This affects regular people everyday in.
I have seen Paramedics (who save lifes) lost a job over this but be innocent.
We have to be careful with the state if we want to be free.
Physical books and physical media are extremely important. Blue-ray is getting sunset and this may come towards physical books by using the expense excuse for printing physical books.
