Catching up on 12 days of Christmas

I knew it was going to be a tight one to share these 12 days of Christmas wish list items as I only had, well, 12 days when I started. Although I knew that I'd probably mix the posts with some other content, I figured this would be easily solved by sharing two items in one day. This is what I will do in the next week, pick a few days where I share two items instead of just one. Not today though!

7 Dollars - Elizabeth II Seven New Wonders of The World

It's not a coin, I know but when I saw it appear on my screen while browsing for rare coins, I had to share this one. Let's have a look at this beauty.

They added 7 Swarovski crystals, each representing a world wonder.

Mintage: 1007
Material: Pure Silver (99.99%)
Features: High Relief; Spherical shape; 7 crystals
Condition: Antique Finish and partial 24K Gold Plating
Weight: 7 oz
Diameter: 34 mm
Face Value: $7.00

All of this for the very soft price of $1445 on ebay, or you can buy it for "just" €995.95 on this site.

Out of my league

This one is definitely FAR out of my league but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the beauty or appreciate the craftmanship. It's one of these items that you'd hold on for a long time because it's so special. I personally don't think I'd be willing to pay this amount for just one silver item, I'd prefer grabbing a few other expensive but still special items over buying this one piece. But Santa can drop one of these boxes in my home for sure!

I promise I'll take good care of it :)

It is a beauty. That much is for sure. But would I be willing to pay that amount of money for it? Nope ... I wouldn't. Especially since I don't even stack any silver yet, if I was to make a start with stacking. I'd very much prefer to buy a whole lot of other silver for that amount of money of just having one very expensive item. Nevertheless, let's wait and see if Santa is going to do the unexpected ...

Yeah I find it weird that it shows up as one of the rare coins as well because why is this considered a coin? It's not the only one I've seen in this form or different ones btw.. Anyway, it is silver so..

Way too expensive for me, even if I had that kind of money to spend on silver, I'd prefer buying several others instead :)

Well it's a coin because it's government issued and has a face value of 7 dollars, coins are usually round but they don't have to be especially when it's something fancy from the mint, too expensive for me too gotta try to stick to smart stacking (cheap oz) things like this enter an iffy territory snd not necessarily so easy to profit from in the future !BBH
