Today I would like to compare the increase in fuel prices for the year 2021 february and 2022 february. Prices may vary from country to country. This is due to the ongoing political crisis in Burma and the ongoing wars. This year, fusel prices have tripled. In February, when the Burmese military took power, the price of a liter of gasoline was about 750 kyats, and monthly prices skyrocketed.

Since the military coup in February, the price of petrol has risen to 1,600 kyat per 1 liters of gasoline(95) in September 2021. In February, when the coup took place, only 750 kyat per liter of gasoline(95).

At the time of writing, 1 liter of Gasoline (95) was priced at 1950 kyats / 2000 Kyats. Most Burmese people have lost their jobs due to the military regime and are facing high commodity prices. With the rise in petrol prices, the USD $ also rose. In September 2021, the USD $ 1 was about 1,350 kyats, but now the USD $ 1 is over 2,000 kyats.
