Meet my shittiest and most ugly piece of silver, a 20 Kreuzer - Franz I coin or 6.68 g of 0.583 silver, minted in 1810:
The passage of time and its previous owners definitely didn't treat it well 😂
Honestly I don't mind it, since I paid spot price for the silver that it contains.

Since my coin has lost all it's collective value due to its condition, I gave it a baking soda bath today so that at least it can become shiny again:
Although not very clear in the photos, the result was amazing and some features and letters of the coins "magically" appeared once they were free from all the dirt and shit!
The front side features Francis I, emperor of Austria (1804-1835) and on the backside is the Austrian coat of arms.
Not the proudest piece of my collection but oh well, it was cheap silver :D
