My wife got lucky today and sort of inherited a bunch of jewels from a distant relative. She had no other people really close to her, other than my waifu and she gifted them saying our family will have a better use for them. I guess ometimes being kind pays and karma goes round 💸💲
There were lots of random bracelets, necklaces and rings. Some are crap (or at least look like that in my untrained eye) some are gold and some are silver.
Overall, a really nice score, like this ring for example
Now I am no markings expert but the first Googe result says 585 is 14k gold
585 gold is labeled as 14 karats and is 58.3 percent pure gold. When a piece includes 585 gold, the rest of the item’s ingredients are alloy metals. Some jewelry manufacturers and sellers will use a slightly higher percentage of gold so that they can call it “585” gold. 585 is easier to remember from an advertising and marketing standpoint source
No idea what the M49 marking means though. If you can satisfy my curiosity then let me know in the comments.
In total they are about 15 pieces. I'll try to sort them tomorrow, see what's valuable or not and maybe shitpost about each piece in the coming days 🤣
So I guess the moral of the day is be kind and good things may happen to you. Or be an asshole with a kind wife. That works too 🥳🥳🥳
Ok that's it for today. Fauda season 4 is out and I can't wait to star it. Hopefully those Jews won't disappoint, show has been really good so far! 🍿
