Advanced Voice Mode gets a new look and new voices on ChatGPT
OpenAI is rolling out new voices with Advanced Voice Mode to ChatGPT Plus and Team users on the app, in addition to a new look. The upgrade includes varied voices, improved conversational and comprehension abilities, and the replacement of the black dot animation with a blue animated sphere. The upgrade will make conversations with GPT more natural and immersive, and provide users with more customization options such as Custom Instructions and Memory in Advanced Voice Mode. The new Advanced Voice Mode features will first roll out to ChatGPT Plus and Teams users, then to Enterprise and Edu customers in the following week. The new voices available include Arbor, Maple, Sol, Spruce, and Vale, in addition to the existing voices Breeze, Juniper, Cove, and Ember. Custom Instructions and Memory features will also be available in Advanced Voice Mode.
