Hi all, it is the 1st of August 2024, we are midway into the third quarter of the year. It is a good time to relook at what you have at the moment and measure that against the goal you set for the year. Many a times, some might procrastinate and end up having a late chase, so if the delta is huge, it's time to act now. I am enjoying exploring the various Hive communities and reading the awesome content that is shared and I hope you like doing that as well. And with today being the first day of the month, it is Hive Power Up Day! Are you ready Power Up and show your support to the Hive Blockchain?
I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is an amazing community where everyone helps everyone and I and many others are testimonials of receiving help and support from various individuals from the community. And from there I continue to grow and lend support to others to help them grow as well.
Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where people come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up.

By powering up our account, what does it bring?
- Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
- With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
- Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up Month July 2024
In the month of July, I continued exploring the various communities on hive and read new content that I never really explore back then. Especially those on photography which I do see many stunning photos, especially those that were on black and white which tells a lot of stories behind those photos.
My growth in HP in the month of July was not as good as that of June but it was still decent and it gained me a total of 383 HP, which I really think is great and help me with my growth no matter how and I can't thank the community more with your support.
To take part in Power Up Month, the key is discipline, consistency and also to prepare ahead. If you are able to do so, I am sure you can also be part of this amazing initiative as well. I am really glad to be able to keep up the momentum in July to keep myself consistent. Now, I am back on track and manage to complete 5 power up months in a row.

Seems like the bug is still showing up similar to that of last month where my progress do show up but the badge is not yet awarded. The discipline is posting daily is there and I am thankful that no matter how busy I am, I still manage to cough up some time daily to create some content for the community.
Will continue to keep my consistency in posting good content in the month of August and seeking your continued support as well!

I am working on in the background is to enable some passive to fund the next Hive Power Day, might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency in building of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day!
