Bitcoin ATM in Varna (#1 Reason why to use a Bitcoin ATM)

in #hive-1679222 years ago

Was sagt ihr dazu?

I'm back in Austria again, but I made some interesting discoveries in Bulgaria that I would like to share with you.

By chance I discovered a Bitcoin ATM in Varna. Is also a shitcoins.club ATM and as you correctly noted, the operator is a Polish company that has humor and is active in several European countries.

Fees and exchange rates are never really good with those machines, but there is one main reason why people use them: Anonymity.

Indeed, small amounts, usually a few hundred euros, can be exchanged anonymously at the machines. There is no need for an annoying KYC, no internet registration nor bank account/credit card required and that is the huge advantage of these machines in my opinion.

It's a pity that the ATMs don't support Bitcoin Lightning yet, but Litecoin is available as an alternative in order to save transaction fees.

Especially for smaller amounts Lightning or Litecoin would be perfect.

What do you guys think? Have you used a Bitcoin ATM already?

No I have not used any crypto ATM till now. But I cannot say what will happen in the future. It is also possible that I will not be able to use this crypto ATM for the rest of my life because of the restrictions of governments

I thought I could do bitcoin transactions, but it's only for shitcoins

Also hatte ich ein peer to peer Geschäft gemacht.

Good news. Crypto is becoming common

Yea, it's ok to pay a little for anonymity.. :)

How I wish many countries can still have more bitcoin atm

I used one of them once but most EU countries force KYC now for them which makes them not interesting anymore ..

i wish my country also accept bitcoin. Nothing can do with this.

Die Teppiche sind so cool. :D

Yes, i have used many in Sofia, and a few elsewhere. Rates are good compared with other countries and as you say, no KYC required (up to 5000 Leva x 2 per day at some machines)

Wow, up to 2x 5000 Leva is really a cool limit in Bulgaria :) In Austria it's just a few hundred Euro.
