Local cop shot Trump shooter first, not Secret Service: Why did it take so long to get that info?

in #hive-16792226 days ago

In the meantime, more and more details about the assassination attempt on Trump have been leaked. More private videos, bodycams and protocols have been published. YouTubers and bloggers have meticulously analyzed everything and reconstructed the course of events.

And some interesting details have come to light. It was not the Secret Service, but a local police officer (SWAT) who was the first to shoot the assassin immediately after the shots were fired, apparently disabling the assassin's weapon so that he could not fire any more shots and presumably saving more lives. It was only a few seconds later that the Secret Service fired the fatal shot.

I'm surprised it took over a month for us to get this information.

But the really more important question is why was Trump so poorly protected, was someone else behind it or was it just sloppiness.

What do you say to the fact that the local police already had the assassin in their sights but couldn't communicate with the Secret Service? Supposedly there were also police radios for the Secret Service to be in contact with the local police, but these were not picked up.

All this sounds very rare and lacks little for the elections.

Someone at high floors wants trump out, war in Ukraine must continue, green madness too and so on

While modern police can communicate easily, they were connected to the Secret Service. it was not so easy to track down the shooter. The incident appears to be a political move.

It's not all a conspiracy. Mostly it's simple incompetence, laxity and stupidity.

I'd go with the simplest explanation and that the Higher ups in the Secret Service were compromised. Common sense security and protocols were deliberately ignored tying the hands of the front line operatives in the course of their duty.

America's secret service is too sophisticated to have this kind of lapses, I would think that something's not quite right here.

Well it is just a matter of time but the information will definitely leek

The police officer should be given an award. Secret service was too slow to react.

I get it's a big and crazy story, but I have a feeling that they will milk this story for wayy too many views. I'm already bored of it xD

But it is interesting that the secret service (who only really has one job) is so crap.

Interessant.

I'm just as shocked, with this developments.

I think there were serious problems with the Secret Services ability to do it's job. I doubt we will get the full story though.

Interesting bit of information. I assumed the Secret Service took the shot. Interesting that there were multiple snipers and he still got off a shot. I guess he went up just for the shot, so he was on the roof only briefly. I still am appalled that there were security assets in the area and he still made it to the roof. Humans are amazing.
