Financial decisions are imminent in the life of humans in general. I would like to limit it to just adults, but it wouldn't be right because I remember choosing whether or not to buy ice cream with the pocket money my uncle just gave me as a kid. This too can be considered a financial decision.
The catch however is the fact that the financial decisions we make as adults affect our lives greatly. This is because as adults, many of us have people looking up to us and for those who do not have anyone looking up to them, they at least have their “bright future” to plan.
Many people practice the art of making good financial decisions daily even without knowing. Little things like budgeting and saving, investing wisely, managing debts (or avoiding it totally) and abstaining from impulsive purchasing go a long way to ensure that we stay financially afloat.
Irrespective of how similar two persons may be, their priorities may not always be the same, leading to an equivalent variation in their financial decisions. I believe that asides from our basic needs, humans tend to spend on things that bring satisfaction in one way or another to them(although this type of satisfaction is usually short-lived)
A good number of the major financial decisions I have made center around quality gadgets and this is because I prefer getting gadgets that would last long while still performing their functions optimally rather than fake gadgets that would need to be replaced in the nearest future.
As such, the biggest financial decision I've made this year was getting my PC. Of course, I didn't just wake up one morning, walk into a gadget store and purchase a laptop. It took months and months of careful planning, management of resources and hard work.
The laptop was purchased in January; not for luxury but because it was needed, and it came in really handy. I was and still am able to carry out important tasks flawlessly.
Choosing to get the laptop wasn't exactly the easiest of decisions because along the line, other things that seemed more important popped up but the truth is, I'm not one to turn back on a goal midway. Hence, the purchase of my baby!
HPUD
Although I've powered up little amounts of hive tokens on random days, it's been a while since I consciously powered-up on the first of the month. This probably has to do with the fact that I like purchasing and holding some layer two tokens that seem promising both on Hive and off Hive.
Nonetheless, I had a few liquid hive tokens laying around and decided to power-up. For the month of September, I powered-up twenty hive tokens. This hasn't significantly moved my hive powered but I believe in taking one step at a time.
After that, I got a notification from hive buzz; one of my favorite notifications on the Blockchain.
