Looks like the Splinterlands card rental revenue is returning to normal (2022.09.30)

Maybe only because the end of the season is near, but my rental income went above 300 Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) per day again in the previous two days. Only the previous two days, but very good to see this. It was below 200 DEC per days for many days, and it was even below 100 DEC per days for a few days.

The 14 days rolling average is 170 DEC per day.

After paying 66.62 DEC (the fee for the previous two days), I currently (as I write this post) have 10 651 DEC. The season ends in 1 hour 16 minutes.

I am still happy with the automatic Splinterlands card renting service on Splex.gg. It provides a passive income for Splinterlands card owners. I keep using it at least in the near future.

Nowadays I am not playing Splinterlands. The last time I played Modern Ranked was 29 days ago, and the last time I played Wild Ranked was 24 days ago, so I played both game modes approximately one month ago.

The current value of my total owned Splinterlands cards is $174.79 USD. Currently I am holding the cards to lease them out. My current rental income gives 50.82% yearly ROA. This is not constant. Sometimes it is around 50-60%, but in the recent past it was often below 30%.

If I see it from the long term aspect, it is worth it, even with the 10% cut from the daily earnings from Splex.gg for providing this automatic card renting service.

I earned more than 10 000 DEC with it. 2378 DEC in the previous 14 days. I paid 226 DEC in the previous 14 days. That is more than one day of income, if I see the 14 days rolling average.

Still good. The return is still much better than the earnings for playing. Currently I have 10 656 DEC. So I earned 5 DEC, while I wrote this post. My DEC collection is currently worth $7.35 USD. I am still thinking about re-investing (=buying more cards). Probably I keep collecting DEC for now.

Of course this post is not a financial advice. This is just/only my personal experience and my personal opinion about the automatic Splinterlands card renting service on Splex.gg.

Everyone should do their own research before investing or re-investing any amount of money. No matter if it is $10 USD or $100 USD. Invest only, which you can afford to lose. There is no guarantee for anything.

If you are looking for a low risk investment, then I would recommend Hive Dollar (HBD) savings. That provides 20% APR interest with a relatively low risk. The value of the HBD is not fluctuating that much. Usually it is around $1 USD. Sometimes even more.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Thats good man, glad to see you building up that passive DEC income. Hopefully things improve for us over next year. Its wild west X.

That's a very good return there. At least while you're not playing, you could actually be earning some DEC throughout for 14 days of the season.

Is it worth to play? The last time I played Splinterlands was approximately one month ago. The game was very hard and very time consuming, while the rewards for playing were very poor. As I currently see it, leasing out the cards is giving a much better return than playing.
