18 days since the last not so weekly Zekely?! I am not sure why I skip weeks but maybe almost 3 weeks worth of adventure will make it even more epic of a post.

Where we left off...

Yep. City hall was being blasted by snow like the rest of the area right before a week of minus double digits Celsius settled in. It finally felt like winter and has since mellowed out a little as far as temperature and precipitation go. I better not tempt fate by calling for more winter or the groundhog may end up freezing his balls off and I will have to bust out the snow blower again.



Here is how we were looking a few days ago. A bit of snow in this picture but you can see the melting on the road suggesting temperatures are closer to zero. Almost spring-like weather!

Dog Wars

This little dood has become a regular feature on my Zekelies, Sundays and weds walks as I try and spend an hour a day with him at the park. Helps me break away from the business tools and enjoy some fresh air even though the business continues to bounce through my head. Besides that, this guy has the time of his life every time, doesn't even seem to have a concept of temperature, and is a great excuse to head outdoors.

Hockey!

It probably doesn't get anymore Canadian winter than drinking a Molson Canadian at a local hockey game. Basic shit beer but good enough to enjoy some high-speed ice polo with fights, get loaded an yell at the officials. When I start running my local tours hosting Hive millionaires on their beer trail tours, this will be one of your stops.

Wrasslin'!

It must be decades since I gave a shit about professional wrestling and even longer since I attended a live event. As fate would have it, our company @town-crier / https://wwww.towncriermarketing.ca was charged not only with event promotion and ticket sales, but running a contest for Manager for a Day. You can see the winner in the green sweater before the match with his tag team, absolutely pumped to be their manager.



In case you thought it was impossible to be any more pumped than that, here is a shot after the match when the team was victorious. When your 15 minutes of fame arrives, I hope you seize the moment and whip the crowd into a frenzy like this guy did. Such a great moment and event. Can't wait to see live wrestling from this production again!

Cannabusiness

We also had the chance to help celebrate the 3-year business anniversary with friends of ours. You will have to imagine the S behind Adam's head as {Spiritleaf Stratford](https://spiritleaf.ca/collections/spiritleaf-stratford) started in the dead of a pandemic, a year after marijuana was legalize in Canada. They are playing the government game as far as command and control goes and focusing on educating the public as well as providing the best curated selection in town. I think @davedickeyyall would like these guys and @canna-curate would be a perfect community when we convince these guys to shake restrictive social media and start telling they story here. I want to buy my prerolls with HBD and aim to make it happen here.

Beer

Of COURSE there has to be beer on a couple weekends of #Beersaturday I snagged this hat in a winter gift pack I unwrapped here https://hive.blog/beersaturday/@zekepickleman/beersaturday-344-winter-mix-pack if you are a #beer person. We call them touques for whatever reason and a little snowy background with a classic regional west coast IPA makes this pretty Canadian too.

The sun has gone down on a couple more weeks of pure winter Canadiana. The next couple should include a film festival, valentines indulgences, martial arts training, perhaps some live music, random adventures and of course beer and dogs. Thanks for joining me on this adventure!
