TEXT:

They that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32 b).

KEY VERSE:

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
And the Lord said unto him,
Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do (Acts 9:6).

CENTRAL TRUTH:

Now that the world's economy is shrinking, it is easier to tell how much of God you know.

MESSAGE:

The events that happen outside of a man's life reveal what is on the inside of him.

You can tell how feeble or strong a person is spiritually when he or she is brought under intense economic pressure.

Our text for today declares,
"... They that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits".

We're in a critical time in the world today, and only those who know God for themselves will overcome the economic challenges being faced by many.

Many have renounced their faith in Christ in order to feast with the world.

Many have compromised their stand with God just to measure up with others. If you don't know God experientially, you may soon join them. God forbid!

Begin the journey to knowing this God you claim to serve; the situations of life will show you how much you know about Him.

CALL TO SURRENDER:

If you would like to give your life to Jesus, you can do so by saying this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner. I ask that You forgive my sins. I accept you into my heart as my Lord and personal saviour. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus' name. Amen."

PRAYER:

Father, help me to grow in my knowledge of You and become strong enough to overcome the pressure to forsake You, in Jesus' name. Amen.
