𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒔.. 𝑵𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒔.. & 𝑭𝒖𝒏. #WE221

It's no news on the blockchain that I am a fashion designer and as soon as I stumbled on #WE 221 to draw or paint myself doing my job, I didn't hesitate to join in.

A typical day of mine has been illustrated with my sketch, join me, while I explain each of them. The first image is me cutting client's clothes, It takes a lot of mental calculation, focus and creativity to achieve this.

Most times while cutting, I hate to be distracted by anything, so that's not a good time for me to start listening to music, whatever mistake I make while cutting can never be corrected, so I pay more than the usual attention while at it, that's why you can see me focused in my drawing.

What you see on my neck isn't a necklace, hehe it is a measuring tape which I used to measure the fabric on my table and place client's body measurement on the fabric to ensure accuracy.

After I am done cutting, the next step to join each of the pieces together to make a beautiful garment, at this point, I can now play or listen to music to keep me going while sewing.

Here I am making use of my sewing machine to stitch each piece together to make something beautiful, but like a movie have behind the scenes sewing does too.

Sewing is not an easy task as I endure back pain most of the times, sometimes I get pricked by the machine needle or I make mistake in joining wrong sides together, which require I loosen it up and start a fresh, but life itself isn't perfect isn't it?

I do not beat myself up for it, I just munch on more chocolates and get going, the main thing is getting the outfit done neatly and perfectly, tailors in the building can relate to this.

I can't work without electricity, as I need to do a lot of ironing, while sewing and even after sewing.

This drawing shows how I take time to iron each of the outfits I've made for clients, I love to iron because it make the clothes look so professional, beat and attractive.

After I'm done ironing, it's about time to fit the outfit on my mannequin and that's mostly what I share with the needlework community, my handiwork displayed on my dummy.

This attract other passerby to check out what I've made and likely give me theirs to make, also it helps me detect any mistake in body shaping before the owner arrives.

That's typically what my job entails. On that drawing, I just finished making a pleated skirt and collar shirt for a beautiful client and I have displayed it on my dummy.

All work and no play make jack a dull boy, so most weekend I spend time with my family and today I decided to do it at the beach with my family.

I drew how I and my family are having a swell time, and bonding as well. My pet is also part of the family, so whenever we are having fun, she isn't left out too.

In this drawing, we are telling stories, singing, and just cracking a joke at the beach and enjoying nature.

After that, we surely would play at the beach too, here we are playing football and just enjoying ourselves the little way we can.

Sundays are for Netflix and chill, so tomorrow I will be enjoying my weekend with the complete squad seeing the latest movie, so that's how we will do it right in our sitting room.

Nothing beats spending quality time with our loved ones, I do not take my weekend for granted with these priceless souls.
