Sometimes boring weekends at home can be fun if the gang pull some tricks for you to go out and touch some grass. Just like what happened here, I was determined to hibernate in my cave this weekend but the guys turned up at the front gates to take me out.
I was encouraged and went out with them to the downtown as it was for the foods. I crave for foods and companion actually but I wanted to hibernate alone at the same time. My emotions are often complicated when I'm alone, they are my headache in a roller coaster ride.

One gloomy afternoon, they brought me here in the streets of downtown that I didn't notice before. This Lomi House offers unli rice paired with different dishes and soups. They also have that famous Pares and Lomi, but since it was almost dinner time, we decided to have rice meals instead.
They have lots of affordable foods on the menu, especially for rice meals, soups, and for a group package. I've even noticed a lot of students here since this was near a college campus around the downtown area. The first floor was packed with people, so we went upstairs to look for vacant tables.
The four of us ordered the same, Sizzling Chicken and a bowl of pares soup while @jiboyskie123 ordered Porkchop with Pares.
Here we are trying the soup while waiting for the rice meals. I haven't tried that Pares soup yet, so basically, that was my first time. I've seen some influencers trying that and saying it's good. When I tried mine, I'm not sure but the taste isn't up to my liking. Maybe it's good for some and my company here didn't have any comment with it, but it's not for me. Still, I finished that bowl of soup, it's not also good to waste food.
Now I know why this place is loaded with students and employees around downtown everytime. Aside from the budget-friendly and tasty foods, they offer unlimited rice and bigger slices of chicken. This time I can say that the chicken is good and flavorful. On the other side of the table, it seems that Jiboy didn't like his slice of pork. He complained that it was so small and regretted that he didn't order the same with ours. In the end, he was still satisfied since he got the leftovers which we couldn't finish. They even added another batch of rice but I didn't, I was already full with one cup of rice and can barely finish my chicken.
Honestly, I didn't have the appetite to eat until they came. After that, they didn't feel like going home yet, so we walk straight down to SM City Bacolod.
In here, we haven't done much anything but just walking around the mall until we get tired for the night while having gibberish conversations. As you can see, I was the only one wearing casual clothes and they were in uniform. They came from a lecture that I choose not to attend for some personal reasons and they went into my place after that. Hence, that was the reason I went out.
Anyway, it was my downtimes at that moment. All thanks to these hoomans right here for pulling me out in the water, letting me out of my cave, giving me a dose of sunshine and encouraged me to touch some grass in just a while. That's a huge help!
It concludes my weekend experience which have been published late by now. All of the photos are mine unless stated otherwise. Thanks for reading!
