Greetings
Hello, it is a pleasure to publish again in this community of @Weekend Experiences this is a new year and I decided todo something different so I'm going to show you the relaxing weekend I had in the company of my youngest daughter, Wendy.
The morning was splendid, a blue and very sunny sky that invited you to go out for a walk and I did not think twice, we got dressed and went out.
We arrived at the city center and sat down for a while to enjoy the landscape and rest.
Its wide and clean streets where you can find very well preserved colonial houses since they are part of the city's heritage.
We continue down the central street of Enramada, which is the heart of Santiago, since many people come here from all over the province, for different reasons, and that makes this street a special and very colorful place at any time of the day.
We arrived at the Contemporary Art Room, where I found an exhibition of works that captivated my attention and without thinking twice I toured the entire gallery and the more I looked at the works the more relaxed I felt, because they transmitted an unimaginable inner peace to me and that is one of the reasons why I have recently dedicated myself to drawing, and this exhibition gave me a lot of inspiration to make abstract drawings.
An exhibition of much surrealism, but it leaves touches of Cubanness like the hand playing the drum, a tradition that came to our country from the Africans and later became part of our culture, as well as the dancer and other paintings that form a spiral giving the impression of a continuous movement.
The gallery is very well lit, so I could take photos with greater clarity and ease, and it also gives more view and elegance to the exhibition.
I spent a good time inside the gallery enjoying this exhibition that took me to an unimaginable world and that is one of the beautiful things that art does.
When leaving the gallery my daughter and I stopped to see the Nativity scene that they had made in the Cathedral church, to recreate the birth of Christ in a manger.
.
Without realizing it, part of the day had gone by and we have to break with the routine and monotony of the home, which often suffocates us and we cannot allow Saturdays and Sundays to be only for doing household chores.
That is why I have decided this new year to take advantage of the weekends to go out and walk through the different streets of my Santiago that holds so much history, sit in a park to watch the children play and take my free time to relax just like I did this Saturday.
When I got home everyone was waiting for me to see what I would bring them and I responded with my best smile, I bring them my happiness with a beautiful smile drawn on my face.
The photos were taking and editated with
