I choose this topic from the 6 topics given by @galenkp in the 141st week of Weekend-Engagement of the #Weekend_Experience Community
If it was possible to meet one single person from history (someone who lived over 100 years ago) who would it be, why do you choose that person and how would you explain today's society to them? Write a post of at least 300 words and use images you took yourself is possible.
By the way, I never thought that I have to meet him, but today @galenkp has asked this question, so when I thought about it, only one name came to my mind, that is Swami Vivekananda.
why do you choose that person
As the name of the school in which I studied was Vivekananda Inter College, then in our school he was considered ideal and a lot was told about him and then later when I read his documentary, I became aware of the work done by him. I was very impressed with the work and his ideology, I have not heard of another person with clear character like him in my lifetime, in my view he was very genius.
He was the first person who told about India to the whole world.
Arise awake and stop not before your goal is achieved
swami vivekanad
This revolutionary word of his inspires a lot of youth even today and second is his contribution in telling the importance of Sanatan Dharma in the whole world.
If it was possible to meet one single person from history (someone who lived over 100 years ago) who would it be,
Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata, India and at the age of 25 he retired from home.
In 1893, he became a representative of India in the World Council of Religions in Chicago, but at that time Indians were looked down upon in Europe, but who has been able to stop the rising sun, Swami Vivekananda, despite the opposition of the people, with the efforts of a professor got a chance to speak and he started...
Swami ji addressed the audience by saying sisters and brothers. On hearing Swami ji's words, people welcomed him with applause and kept listening to him mantra free and did not know when the stipulated time had passed.
At the request of Chairman Gibbons, Swami Ji began to speak and spoke for more than 20 minutes.
He said that when we love a person or thing by keeping it separate from its soul, then as a result we have to bear the brunt, so we should try to connect the person with his soul or consider him as the soul, then we will be able to handle every situation. Will stay away from grief and disease malice
Swami Vivekananda continued to propagate Indian spirituality in different cities of America for 4 years. Returning home in the year 1887, he called upon the countrymen and called upon the people to fight for the freedom of India, after that he traveled across the country and abroad. Made extensive travels and established the Ramakrishna Mission and advised to avoid religious ostentatious and conservative people, he worked to awaken the people and society with his thought revolution.
Rabindranath Tagore said about him that if you want to know India, you will find everything positive in him, nothing negative.
Roma Rolla also said about him that it is impossible to imagine him being second and he remained first wherever he went.
On July 4, 1922, at the young age of 39, Swami Vivekananda's revolutionary ideas continue to stir the masses even today.
how would you explain today's society to them?
I will tell them that the knowledge given by you and the work done by you are remembered even today. There are many people who follow your footsteps. Perhaps if you had not given India a new identity at the Chicago conference, perhaps India would have Sanatan Dharma is not so popular...
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.... i hope you will enjoy your #weekend.....
