Cinema under the stars 🎬✨

When one feels like creating in order to stimulate others and not in the pursuit of one's own benefit, interesting projects that point towards social benefit begin to emerge.

A week ago, a friend contacted me to lend her a movie that I have under my ownership. I didn't see any problem with that, so I agreed. When we met and started catching up, I found out that I needed her because in her new job they wanted to carry out a very interesting idea.

The space "Cinema under the Stars" in the bar-cafeteria "La vie est belle" proposes the projection of films that have been endorsed by the specialized critics, so that the young audience has a pleasant place to watch them while consuming all the gastronomic offers that they have there. As soon as I understood the concept I did not hesitate to book my ticket to go.

So, last Saturday I was in the city center, ready to enjoy the night. I decided that I wanted to go out alone, I needed that time to myself, and it was for that reason that I did not personally invite anyone, although I did share the information of what would be done.

Surprisingly I met several friends and made time to chat with them, but sticking to my point, I ended up sitting at a table by myself.

The movie started and the lights in that yard went out. I took advantage of the first credits to order pop corn and a beer, which seemed like a good choice at the time and my intuition did not disappoint me (this was the only thing I consumed throughout the rest of the night, in fact).

The film was about an ex-convict who became a mafioso after arriving in another country with the aim of making a living, and then becoming rich. Despite the fact that the tape lasted almost three hours, it was able to capture and hold my attention from the first moment. I really liked the visuals, the photography, the storytelling and the development of the characters.

At the end of the night I made sure to take a picture with my friend and thanked her for supporting an idea like that, so necessary in my city. And that's how my Saturday ended.

I hope you liked this post. In the place where they live, what kind of projects are done in the establishments to promote culture? I'd love to know, so I'll keep an eye out for comments ☺️. Until next time!
