Hi there! I hope you're having a great weekend. Weekends can sometimes be stressful, but they can also be a lot of fun. Speaking of fun, I recently made a new soup as the last one I made was finished. I wanted to prepare a fresh, healthy, and delicious meal for the weekend, so I decided to make vegetable soup. It has all the necessary nutrients the body needs after a long week.
I went to the market to buy the necessary ingredients for my soup. Usually, I get the vegetable leaves first so I can know the amount of other necessary ingredients to buy. However, this time around, I got the other things first, then went for my vegetables.
When I got to the first vendor, she asked me to wait for her to sort herself out as she had just arrived. I declined politely because the sun was exceedingly hot, and there was no shade to shield me. I moved to the next vendor, but her vegetables were not fresh. Eventually, I found a vendor with whom I negotiated the price and reached an agreement.
I requested that she slice the vegetable leaf, which she did, as it was not an easy task. While she was doing that, another vendor came and threw my vegetable leaf away. It was a surprise, and I was speechless. I was unsure of how to react or what to say, but I decided to walk away quietly. I have never been this confused before in my life. If confusion were a person, I think I would be called confused.
Eventually, I went home without buying the vegetables. When I got home, I narrated all that happened in the market, and everyone laughed at me for being so quiet about the issue. What can I say? but to laugh along with everyone.
When I remember this experience, I just laugh. It's still funny in my head.
Thanks for taking the time to read!
