Hello everyone!
A new weekend to enjoy, to do other things, to do a few things or simply to think about what to do. And thinking about sharing, we also thought about sharing some experience, and here in the #WeekendExperiences community hosted by @galenkp I join "the engagement-challenge" because when I has been reading the possible topics that we can choose to write about this weekend, clearly one of them has called me attention, has inspired me immediately, so the chosen topic is:
“One Single Photo”
Because it is said that an image is worth a thousand words, and with an image we can transmit a lot, we can feel a lot and we can be speechless. For now, I do have a few words to share with you, about an inspiring moment because the chosen topic deals with a single photo but explaining something that we think is beautiful somewhere nearby, our city, town, etc. And for me this is very easy.
It has been easy because the first image that comes to mind is always the sea, I live in a city on the coast so my main refuge during the weekends or any other time is the beach. A sunrise at the Mediterranean Sea.
For a long time I have lived in a large city (relatively, the third in the country), and there is also a beach there, one of which is very popular and well-known, Playa de la Malvarrosa in Valencia, Spain. Just walking for a few minutes almost in a straight line I can get to admire the sea horizon, the sunlight, the clouds and all those colors on the sky.
And what better than a beautiful moment of peace?
How many times have I gone to see the sunrise! Well, we're to the east so you have to get up early (weekends included!), but after contemplating the wonder of each day, that unique phenomenon that I enjoy so much, I always think: "it was worth it".
And it is not the first time that I publish photos of this magical and inspiring moment, I do it frequently because, as I have said before, for me it is my spiritual refuge in the city itself. I also feel so #alive in my current location, another smaller city on the same coast, always close to the sea, always looking at the horizon, always perceiving serenity and always feeling hope.
This place means a lot to me. There I have enjoyed, I have refreshed myself, I have been inspired but I have also cried, and I have healed.
Yes, the simple contemplation made a dent in me, allowing me to see something higher, another perspective, or simply enough silence, enough peace and the maximum beauty that helped me also see the beauty that there is around in our lives.
