I hope everyone is doing well. It's been a while since I've been here and I'm excited to see everyone sharing their weekends.
I want to tell you about mine, my last weekend. It was filled with a lot of art, since we decided to record a song and a video. 😮
I had the beautiful opportunity to visit the Valley, in Merida, Venezuela. It is a simply magical place, that feeling in the morning, watching the dew from having rained all morning. Getting up and preparing a simple but tasty breakfast such as bread with cheese and a good cup of hot chocolate ☕️🍫
I'm one of those people who is shocked when I see a new place, and even though I've been in cabins before, I hadn't been in one for years and it was beautiful to be here. I show you the cabin:
In this area, we shared lots of delicious food, and filmed a part of the video clip.
It was amazing how between 4 people, we did the whole process of pre-production and production in such a short time, but with a lot of dedication and discipline. We felt very motivated by the place.
On the second floor, we slept and recorded another part of the video clip.
And this was inside one of the rooms that was used as a recording set. It was a lot of fun because we had to arrange the lights and make it look very pink.
One of the things I liked to see, very close to the place was this small lagoon, surrounded by dogs, buffaloes, chickens and peacocks. Although I don't have pictures of the latter, because I was so excited I didn't even take them, and I take pictures of everything haha 😆 😆.
But what I definitely loved the most, was to feel that closeness with nature, to disconnect a little bit from the city, and even though I love that concrete jungle, being here was special... that cold at night, listening to the animals at dawn, especially the peacock, who by the way, loves to be climbing in the tall trees 😮 and being surrounded by very precious people who love to do the same as I do. Working in art.
If you want to know a little more about the project, here is a link with other pictures, give her lots of love 💜.
💜 I hope you like it 💜
