I like nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells.
For this weekend I thought about sleeping long and deep after having arduous days at school where I work, also have been intense rehearsals and presentations with the Afro-Venezuelan percussion group in which I currently participate, therefore, I have wished immediate vacation, however in these monuments are lowering commitments for the holiday season, then I decided to give continuity to my publications, finding this proposal that fell like a ring to my finger.
Weekend collection
Do you collect something and, if so, what is it, why and when did you start the collection? Write at least 300 words for your answer, and because these are things you collect, you must use your own images of those things, not stock images.
First of all, I didn't know I was a collector and the weekend's proposal made me realize it. It turns out that looking through my belongings I have many school and craft items thanks to my profession as a children's arts teacher, this collection I have been obtaining progressively according to my needs to create.
Addressing this proposal, I made a retrospective of my life, and I realized that from a very young age I have an affinity and a taste for stationery, it has always been and has been fascinating for me to enter those stores where you can find every flirtatious and colorful thing for desks. , agendas, pens, calendars among others. I remember with great pleasure my first colors and accessories to go to school that he took great care of, becoming my great treasures, including my first Sara key and Hello Kitty diaries, which over time were selected extinct elements.
As an adult, when I started to pay for my own little gifts, I couldn't miss a calendar and an agenda for the end of the year, which I got in various presentations until I discovered the EASTER, some beautiful agendas that carry with them the story of a super charming little witch, a hippie character. full of art, sensitivity and beautiful values, the agenda also brought with it a desk organizer, calendar, bookmark and sticky note.
Later I couldn't buy them anymore because they became very expensive, so I opted to buy some more classic diaries called KUY that brought an animated character, an educational OWL who, through proverbs, left after each month and pages wonderful thoughts, reflections and dynamics that They were used for daily work with my students from school and university.
There was a time when I could no longer afford to buy my diaries, so I decided to reduce my sense of collector buying smaller diaries until I lost their sense, it is worth noting that I never finished completing the diaries, staying on all available sheets to continue writing and drawing on them.
Some time later I began to cover other needs and interests, focusing on stationery, such as colored sheets, cardboard and folders. Apart from buying them, I have always been willing to request this material from any friend who no longer finds it useful. When I receive it, I use it in my work and personal life, creating collage, papier-mache, masks, recycled elements, and in recent years I began to dabble in origami.
Since I started to feel an affinity for origami, like any inexperienced with a desire to learn, I bought basic books on origami and whenever I can I resort to that nonsense to wake up my brain cells.
This art of modeling paper distracts me a lot, sometimes it becomes challenging, but even so I do not give up, I mobilize my neurons and fine motor skills, learning new strategies to work with my little schoolchildren, innovating and recreating our imagination taking advantage of the December season, here is a Christmas tree with its respective star made in origami.
