I have been in Hive for seven + years. I have not taken profits during that time(I did power down to buy splinterlands assets and to change Hive to HBD). Instead I have invested most of money from my bank account to hive and splinterlands. I try to make one or two posts every day. I try to put effort in what I do. I am also more active than I was in the past in commenting others posts. But does this mean that I am Entitled to big votes?or perhaps to a hot girl sucking my cock every morning? Of course not. Each new day and each new post is a new battle. No one cares what I did in the past. I still have to give my all every time and prove that I still deserve the upvotes. If I would stop being active for a long time or put less effort in what I do people would quickly move on and stop voting me at all. So by taking something for granted I could lose everything I build over those seven years of blogging. If I am not gonna put in the effort my followers will find someone who will be trying harder and deserving their votes more. The competition in both art and gaming communities is fierce. But that is not a bad thing. Now I get what people believe my work is worth. I don't get massive votes every time I post something but that pushes me to try harder and try to be better. If I want to thrive in this world I have to produce content that is competitive with quality of other authors. In real life I have not been in a fight for many years. But I don't mind fighting for survival in digital world. Like Guts I also only want what I can win with my sword my art and gaming posts.
Not everyone who works hard are rewarded, However all those who succeed have worked hard.
