Good day, Hiveans! I hope you’re fine while reading my blog. I did not have an update yesterday because we had unexpected visitors last weekend.
It was late Friday night when one of my friends in college notified me that she would like to visit our place with her colleague. She is from Cordova, Cebu Philippines. Cordova to Tabogon is a two-hour and forty-minute drive.
I was surprised by her notification since it’s been three years since she last visited our place. It was when I had my wedding. It will be her first visit to our matrimonial house. Her colleague already knew about Tabogon but it would be her first time sleeping in our town.
It’s been three years since my husband, and I lived together in one house away from our parents, and my college friend and her colleague will be our first official visitors.
It was Saturday morning I thought that the plan was canceled since there was no follow-up notification. My husband and I were doing our ordinary activities every weekend. Not until my friend notified me about their time travel and was expected to arrive in the evening.
I told my husband about their arrival, and we were in a rush mood since our place was not ready to accept visitors. We only have two rooms; the other room was used as our stock room since no one used it. We decided to clean the room to use it as a guest room.
My husband immediately gets the cobwebs off our ceiling because the cobwebs have been visible already.
We also arranged very well the stock room and turned it into a guest room. Most of the things in our stock room were commonly used by my husband for his hobbies. We used all our knowledge and skills to make the place welcoming for the visitors.
We used our magic skills.
Despite the short notice, our mission was a success. We were happy because we experienced cleaning and preparing our place for the visitors. Having them was our training ground for the next visitors to come.
Before they arrived, my husband and I decided to prepare evening snacks. It was expected that they already had their dinner while traveling. I decided to buy a pizza and mix powdered juice for them.
When they arrived, they took their evening snacks and had some small talk about their travel and the updates.
After eating the snack, we used the remaining time for a short tour. We visited the Paseo sa Tabogon. It is a place for the Tabogon people and visitors who like nightlife. It was their first time visiting Paseo sa Tabogon. My friend was amazed how Tabogon had improved so much. She told me there had big changes from her last visit until now.
Our day ended with a smile on our faces because of the unexpected weekend. The visitors had a safe place to stay and had already seen a glimpse of the beauty of Tabogon. The visitors were satisfied with their travel.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
