Outdoor Adventure- A graveyard of farm machines

in #hive-1688692 years ago

Phone's camera on, and my airpod in my ears, quietly I walked around. I was listening to what the wind was saying. The sun was shining, but it was cold. There were no people around.

I walked towards a land behind the Agricultural department. The plot of land behind the department is home to several abandoned farm machines. I decided to take some pictures of them. The grass was growing here and there around the machines, wild flowers were blossoming on the walls of the greenhouses.

These are the abandoned farm machines that I was able to capture. The machines are left unattended and are often used as homes by stray animals such as dogs and cats.
This can be dangerous when you're trying to take a photo because they can potentially attack you or cause an accident while exploring.

There were different kinds of farm machines there, Such as tractors, harvesters and trailers. Decided to take close look at the abandoned machines and especially at their rust.

The first shot is a little old tractor that's missing a wheel and an engine, it has not been used for several years.

The second photo is a small farm cart used to move grain and straw from the barn to the granary.

The third picture is a simple hydraulic cylinder for lifting a bucket of water. This type of hoist is not used now because it requires a lot of power and it doesn't allow changing the height. Another disadvantage is that it can only lift a small weight (the size of the tank).

The place should just be named the graveyard of machines, because there are lot of abandoned machines there that I don't even know their purpose.

I believe that it is important to keep our old machines in a good condition. In those pictures, you can see that the tractors and some other machines were not properly maintained

)

This one has the abandoned machine with the most beautiful paint of all the machines and it's completely rusted out. It's a really cool looking piece though. And that made me think what would have happened if all of those things had not been left behind, if all those beautiful machines had not been abandoned in that place, if they were working somewhere right now.

I left when the sun was getting hot.

The old farm machines were old, but they created beautiful memories back then of the ones using them, my friend. What a great adventure at your place today. I guess one is a tractor and the other one is a massive truck for fuel. And what amazed me is that it still exists today, although they are so old.

Exactly, most of the machines there have been abandoned for decades. Thanks for visiting, I appreciate

That's a proper junk yard and not a nice one either. Those living or working in that building must be unhappy. All that metal could be sold and reused.

Exactly! I was told that they are working on it, it's either they dismantle the machines and recycle the metals or just sell them out like you said.

Yay! 🤗
