I'm back to this community after a rather long break. Infact I get a lot less time to take out for Hive due to my hospital and clinic commitments.
This weekend, I had already informed my friends that no matter what happens, we'll be giving this new amusement park which is called the "Onederland" a visit. We had been planning to go to this place for over a couple of months now but since none of us could take out some time from our busy schedules, it was long over due.
The only issue is that we have our clinicals even on weekends, so we had to work a way through this hurdle. What we had decided was to not to appoint any patient after 12 pm. We were a group of 5 friends and four of us had already finished our patients before 12, except for one. She was working on her patient, even after 12 pm. Not going to blame her though, as it was a really complicated case.
Anyway, we left hospital at around 12:30 pm. All fuve of us were in my car as I was driving. We reached onederland at around 1 pm.
For gaming at onederland we had to buy a card from the counter and then recharge it for the gaming, activities and other stuff in there. The card costed us rs 200, around 2 Hive and I rechared it with:
Pkr | USD | Hive |
---|---|---|
5000 | 17.8 | 60 |
Entering the Onederland, we had a lot of options to choose from. We opted for the arcade gaming at the start. The resson of doing so was that there were a lot of different arcade gaming options. From playing football with your mates, to playing ice hockey to racing on a motor bike etc.
ARCADE GAMING
I love riding bikes. Infact, I have had this life long dream of buying a Kawasaki H2r. I ride bikes all the time and one day, maybe one fine day, I'll get myself an H2R as well InshaAllah.
Anyway, the first thing I hopped on was this bike riding competition, on which I took part with my friend and obviously beat him haha.
After this, there was this arm wrestling challenge in which I took part. It had a lot of levels, starting from the beginner to legendary. Honestly speaking I didn't want to directly hit the legendary level but my other friend chose it for me. This was more fun, choosing the levels for other person. I chose the legendary level for him as well. Safe to say, we both beat the legendary levels.
Well after the arm wrestling bit, it was all about teying all of the arcade gaming options we had there. Obviously, I wont be writing about all of these in details, but I'll be showing you all the pictures
We played the monkey vibration hand game. Where you had to grab the hand of the vibrating monkey hand and trust me the vibrations went upto such levels, that literally my whole body started to shake.
There was this karaoke session where we all let out the inner singers in us hahaha. After that, there was the football game. Thissss, I'll be mentioning in quite a bit of detail for two reasons,
- I love playing football, be it on the field, on my gaming console, on cell phone or in places like these
- I beat the shit out of everyone. I was the MVP as I scored 3 goals and won it for my team. The game was 2 vs 2
Before moving on to the next thing that we did, I'll post the pictures of all the arcade gaming that we played.
The Real Adventure
Next up was the thing that I was looking up to the most. It got my adrenaline level to 999. Out of the five people only 2 of us were able to complete it,
What was it? Was it was a set of hurdles and obstacles that we had to cross in order to win. The person who did it first was declared as the winner.
The first was was the hanging tyres that we had to cross with pur safety belt wrapped around us. The tyres were constantly moving and it scares the shit out of all of us 😂😂
After that was the hanging rings, then the moving board. After that were the wall rocks and then we had to walk on a straight bar. It was ONE HELL OF AN ADVENTURE. Lets dive into the pictures with me
This has to be my favorite picture from that day. It was taken when I was hanging for my dear life and one of my friends from beneath clicked this picture.
Let me give you a detailed story of what happened in this game. My friend and I initiated with the hurdles. The first one up was the tyre crossing. We crossed it with our heartbeats reaching upto 200, I shit you not.
We both stopped, standing at the pillar before the ring crossing. The two other female friends who were behind us didn't even cross the tyre obstacle and turned back. Now here we were the two of us contemplating whether we should cross this ring obstacle or not. My friend said fuck it and turned back. Now I was all alone. The 5th friend who had just started this game, reached up to me and we both stood up on the pillar for the next 5 minutes.
To be very honest, I decided to turn back and that was when my girl cried from the bottom "Your mom did not raise a bitch huzaifa, CARRY ON"
She Literally said this and it qas enough for me to go on. I took the leap of faith and jumped on the ring obstacle.
After crossing this everything seemed pretty easy to me. I know what you're thinking, that this doesn't look to challenging. Trust me, I had the same thought before I climbed up there. Everything changed when I was up there. It felt lie I was having a forearm and a leg day simultaneously.
Anyway, after this I crossed every obstacle within 5 to 10 minutes. This was honestly an experience of lifetime.
XTREME BOWLING
Even though I have never really learned bowling or even know the proper rules, surprisingly I'm pretty good at it. Maybe because I usually go bowling with my friends twice or thrice an year.
This place had a bowling alley on them and three of us decided to give it s go as the rest weren't too interested in bowling at time, so they were off to the arcade gaming section.
We had a good time bowling there. Infact I was able to hit a couple of strikes or whatever they're called. Out of the three, I had the highest points and for one of our friends, we raised the side railings as well.
That's me with more than 100 points while my friends almost beat me to the furst place. Anyway, after bowling we went to the last couple of things that we did in there and those were:
BUMPER CARS AND ROLLER COASTER
Bumper cars were fun. In case you don't know what bumper cars are, they're also called as Dodg em Cars. Theres this small arena in which there are around 10 electronic cars where you try to hit the shit out of your friends. Its a fun couple of minutes.
FOOD
We had already spent more than 3 hours in there and our stomachs were rumbling from hunger and our legs shaking from pain so we decided to call it for the day and get some food for ourselves. Not trying to be sexist but ut gets pretty hard when you have females around you trying to figure out what they want to eat
Anyway, it took us around 10 minutes to decide what are we ordering and all five of us ordered something different. From Hardees to Kfc to Desi food to icecreams, I guess we ordered everything.
All this costed us around 6k pkr that makes it around 75 Hive. Overall ut was one of the best weekends that I have spent lately. So folks, this was it from my weekend, hope you all had a great weekend as well. Leaving this cute photo that we took. Byeee.
