Greetings to all friends who make life in this weekend community, this is my first post that I present in this community, I hope that every week I can tell my experiences, I love it because every weekend we always have some activity, party, important event to tell. This weekend I was invited to a barbecue for the birthday of Maria, my friend Maria's mother.

Early in the morning I was busy making the tres leches cake for the birthday, since my friend Maria asked me to make the cake for her mother for her 82nd birthday, she started beating the ingredients, baking and then decorating, by 11 am, I had the cake ready, because the celebration is a delicious lunch.

A very hot day, I wanted to wear something light and fresh, a very comfortable cotton dress was my outfit, I was accompanied by my youngest daughter Abril, it was time for my friend Maria to pick me up, she is my friend for 10 years, I met her at the church I started attending, and we became very good friends, she is an older woman than me but we have always had a very good friendship, and I also became friends with her family, she is more than a friend, she is like a mother, an older sister.

When we arrived Maria's sisters and brothers and nephews were already gathered with the lady, the coals lit to roast the meat that was part of the menu of the celebration, listening to music, toasting with wine, this is how they celebrate birthdays, it is a very united family, they are 5 brothers and sisters with a good sense of humor.

After lunch, which was delicious, we talked, listened to music, we were all telling anecdotes, it was time for the cake, the birthday girl was very happy because that is her favorite cake of three milk, very happy she sang her birthday song, at first glance she does not look 82 years old, she is very active and she is a dressmaker of women's clothing.

That's how I spent my Saturday, thank God for the 82 years of Mrs. Maria, and for my friends, as they say that sometimes it is more a friend than a brother, we had a good time, we had fun with so many occurrences of the guests, I laughed a lot, that was the idea to spend a different day.
