My glasses is first.

There was a time in my life when I didn't know exactly what I wanted but I bought them because my peers had them so just to feel among, I try to buy such stuffs whether or not they are of some value. Most times I bought those stuffs get home and I don't like them and I gift it out . The main question is why did I buy this at the first place.

Bad wears

For many years, I bought things that I never needed and one day I read any article that says if a fool hasn't gone to the market, bad wears won't be sold. This revamped my position on owning assets.

How big or small should an asset be?

I thought that asset is something that is very big and cost a lot of money to acquire. Maybe I'm wrong. But I try to see from a different view that assets are those things that are essential, big or small but contribute alot to my daily living and happiness making things work well for me.

What is the most helpful thing I own .

It might be surprisingly to hear me say that the most helpful thing I have is my glasses.
Health is wealth we're told and obviously, a blind would prefer his vision back than anything else.

Back in the year 1991 , a Sunday afternoon, back from church service and went with elder sister to pick some vegetables from the farm, a playful child was , playing with cutlass and the story ended that I got a cut on my left eye 👁️ Cornea , my parents tried to give me the best medical attention but nothing much was done because there were no facilities to care for me 😭😭😭😭. So the eye go deformed.

Hope with one eye.

The eyes never gave me any troubles. And at different times, I visited the ophthalmologist and they kept telling me my eye is okay. And one Thursday morning, my right eye which is the only light remaining went off and I tasted blindness for about 10 months and my sight was restored after much treatments . Thanks to technological advancement .

Academic work stopped without glasses.

Eight years after the my sight was restored, I was still reading without glasses, use the screen without glasses but I still asked for glasses, different eye tests yet I was not recommended any till I couldn't read nor use my mobile phone without an aid of a glasses. Sounding like a bad omen being the first to use glasses in the history of the family. And since I can read effectively with the glasses and work from my mobile phone comfortably, the glasses becomes the most helpful thing I have for without it, no reading nor would I use the screen.

Thanks for visiting my blog And happy weekend.

I'm also wearing glasses, so I know what you're talking about and agree. Your your vision is most important as without that, life becomes very difficult.

It's far better that someone came into the world without eyes and having eyes that stopped functioning at some point in our life.
