Last weekend, my cousin asked me if I could be their photographer for their prenup photoshoot, and with no hesitation, I said yes to her. I was delighted to be part of such a special moment in their lives, After all, we have been really close for a long time and it would be the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with them before they tie the knot. But the thing is I'm not really a professional photographer but a thriving one and this was actually my first solo prenup shoot, I am used to being the assistant or secondary photographer but my cousin trusted my skills in photography so I accepted it as a challenge anyway.
I wanted the photos to be natural, so I didn't have any instructions for them beforehand. I just told them that they need to pose like they were in love with each other and then we would take some solo shots of them.
We all agreed that we will just do the photoshoots on the beach since we were living close to the coastline and that we would do it in the morning so that we would have good natural light since I don't have any lighting equipment. The photos turned out beautifully and I'm happy that my cousin trusted me with this responsibility.
As we arrived at the location, while they were getting ready, I immediately started setting up my lenses and looked for a good spot to start with. It was a beautiful location with a lot of natural light, so I knew it would provide great opportunities for taking photos. Here are some of the snaps that I took.
I even told the couple that we can do more photoshoots if they wanted since we have more time to do so. And they both agreed with my suggestion, so after all, these photos are just the first batch of their prenup shoot. And we have already a schedule for the second batch, so there are more photos to be posted soon and to look forward to. Their wedding will be by end of this month anyway.
